Chore Pet is cancelled
This is quite a sad announcement, but unfortunately, Chore Pet will no longer receive updates. I've worked on this game for over 2 years, but I'm afraid this is inevitable. The game was a flop. I didn't expect it to go viral, but a single daily active user is not what I had in mind. I just can't keep updating the game for a single person. The game's lore is currently impossible to solve, and it will probably stay that way. It's a shame nobody will get to see what I had planned, but it is what it is. If this game randomly goes viral, I might update it, but don't count on it. Maybe I'll make a few bug fixes if anyone asks for them. Originally, the game was developed for mobile as an app I'd use myself, but it quickly became way too ambitious. I've planned to add cross-platform cloud saves, Steam Workshop support, and Mac support. That's what the "multiple devices" setting was planned to be used for. Blind ambition is definitely something you can notice in my projects.I'm very thankful to the few people who've purchased my game. This experience was a great learning opportunity, and I will continue making games. Thank you.Read full article on Community Announcements (StainedFluff)Patch NotesOfficial
