About this game

In Closing Shift you will: Serve customers, prepare meals, and handle all sorts of nightly tasks in Closing Shift. You, and up to 2 other friends are fast food employees located in hell.

During open hours

You will prepare orders, please customers, and cook food while managing inventory as well as your quotas.
Working together with your team (or yourself!) to ensure maximum happiness for the customer, while surviving any creatures that makes their way in, is not an easy task and caution is advised.

 When the store closes

You're in charge of doing closing tasks before your shift ends. Take out the trash, scrub toilets, and even maintenance work that you aren't qualified for. After hours is when things become extremely dangerous. You aren't sure how these creatures got into the building, but you are sure that they aim to harm. Navigating the dark building and trying to survive, all while your boss watches displeased? You do not get paid enough for this

Special Jobs

Throughout your work week, you'll have the (forced) opportunity to work special shifts, which change up the game.
You'll also get the chance to work at different restaurants. Different restaurants equals different menus, customers, and closing tasks.

Solo Versus Multiplayer
In Closing Shift, playing solo grants a unique experience with solo-only maps. These maps are made to be smaller and more compact, focusing on tighter gameplay. Players in a group experience larger maps with a better focus on team play and organization.

From burgers to fries. Cleaning toilets and hiding from monsters, there's always a job for every employee.

    Hotfix 01.1.3

Hello again Chefs! Got a smaller update today. Making some touches to the beginner experience for multiplayers. I'm also working on a much larger content update aimed for the end of this month. Content: Adjusted incorrect decal collision on some maps Updated double burger icon Customer happiness will not go down for days 1-2 on week 1. (This was to help newer players get a better feel for the game without harsh penalty) Added new poster and a pan spawn to multiplayer map 2 Decreased quota requirements for day 1-2 Adjusted happiness quota decay amount from max of .03/trigger -> .02 Bug Fixes Fixed incorrect level settings for some maps Fixed bug with some night tasks after completing them May have fixed a rare issue with reviving players And that's all Chefs! This will likely be the last hotfix I do until I'm done with the major content update, unless someone finds a huge issue with the game! Best, AO

    V 0.1.0.8 Hotfix

Evening Chefs! This is last of the immediate launch hotfixes I'll be doing. I've been watching the streamers/feedback and understand the game felt too difficult and frustrating, which lead to many players feeling like the game was unfun. Over the past few days I've been adjusting and adding several things to improve the QoL for new players. I hope all these changes are well received! Going forwards, updates will take slightly longer to come out. (No double updates day after day) This is because I'll be shifting my focus to the next content update, which should include some maps and new additions to the shop. (Maybe even a new monster?). I'll still work on improving the new player experience, but I believe the new changes should be enough for now. Content - Added full kitchen functionality to the home area. New players can now make and eat burgers to practice before their shift. Burgers will even burn so be careful! - Added tutorial book to the home so new players are able to read the instructional manual without worrying about reading it in game. - Added a "leash" system to single player games (day 1 only). For your first shift, you'll receive arrow prompts on where to go. Bug Fixes - Fixed being unable to feed critter burnt food - Adjusted incorrect lighting in the home - Fixed incorrect collision on cars in the parking lot which prevented the baby monster from moving That's all for now Chefs! I know this was relatively small, but these smaller updates were all done in quickly to improve the QoL as fast as possible. Hope you all enjoy B)
