About this game

Idle hands do the Devil's work. Tap to summon demons, raise an infernal workforce, and claw your way down through the nine Circles of Hell... from Limbo to the frozen treachery at the bottom, where the Devil himself is waiting.

Descend, and grow stronger

Every descent is a bargain: you give up everything you've built -- your demons, your power-ups, your whole workforce -- for a permanent multiplier that makes the next circle pay out far more. Nine circles, each richer and stranger than the last.

Bargain at the Crossroads

A figure waits where the roads cross, and he deals in souls. Stake what you've earned on a single roll: bet small and the odds turn against you; bet big and the swings turn brutal. Walk away with a fortune... or get Cast Down to Limbo for your greed. The dial is yours. So is the risk.

Battle the Devil

Reach the bottom and Satan takes notice. He'll steal from your hoard and dare you to take it back -- a tapping duel that escalates every time you win. Beat him, and he comes back stronger. The fight never ends the same way twice.

Bank souls, climb forever

Resurrect to convert a run into Souls, then spend them on permanent powers that carry across every future descent. It's an idle game that respects your time -- play actively and tap, or set it down and let your demons earn while you're away.

Features

  • Nine Circles of Hell, each a soft-prestige with its own multiplier

  • Plays in short bursts or long idle sessions

    Idle Hands v1.1

Your demons keep working while you're gone Close the game and come back to a While You Were Away report, and your recruiters kept going. New Soul upgrade The Overseer extends how long, and how efficiently, they work without you. Stop breaking your hand Buy x1 / x10 / xMax.... a toggle at the top of both upgrade columns. New Soul upgrade Phantom Hands: a spectral hand that Summons for you, once per second, per level. Upgrades that build toward something Own 10, 25, 50 or 100 of any one upgrade and its power doubles. Every circle now has a real decision: descend now, or stay and hit the next milestone? The Devil got scarier and far less annoying He shows up much less often... minutes apart instead of seconds. He announces himself before arriving, so you can prepare instead of being ambushed. Not in the mood? Pay the Tithe and he takes a cut and leaves. Twice per run. Beat him and you keep the Devil's Respect: +15% income for two minutes. His music was too loud. It isn't any more, and there are now Music and SFX volume sliders. See yourself getting stronger Resurrecting now tells you how your run compared to the last one. Fixes Demons the Devil had taken are no longer lost if you quit mid-fight. He can no longer drain your hoard while a menu covers him. Turning music off now silences every track, including his. Resetting your game no longer resets your audio and language settings. Thank you to everyone who has written in... nearly all of the above came from your feedback.
