FEEL WHAT IT'S LIKE TO FLY FPV
Trippy Plains is an FPV drone simulator built for both total beginners and experienced pilots. Strap into the cockpit of a 5" freestyle quad, a racing drone, a collective-pitch helicopter or a tiny whoop — then fly anywhere you want across 15 distinct worlds.
No tutorials. No grinding. Just fly.
15 WORLDS TO EXPLORE
Every map has its own character, layout and atmosphere:
Trippy Plains — the home world. Neon portals, rolling hills, wide open skies. Fly through glowing rings to teleport across the map, and dive the Eiffel Tower far to the south.
Central London — a 1:1 recreation of Westminster. Dive inside Big Ben's tower, thread the Thames arches, fly through Parliament's great hall and carve through St James's Park.
Starbase — a rocket launch facility packed with cranes, fuel towers, tank farms, rocket transporters and climbable Raptor-engine rockets. Inspiration: a certain South Texas coast.
Speedway — a tight race circuit with beacon gates, live lap timing and a leaderboard. Beat your own ghost.
Twister — a technical race track with sweeping banked corners and elevation changes. High risk, high reward.
Ruhrwerk Factory — an industrial complex with turbines, conveyors and two-storey interior space to thread through.
Bando Resort — an abandoned leisure park. Crumbling pools, broken rooftops, overgrown courts. Classic bando style.
Atompark — a nuclear facility with dive-through cooling towers and hollow reactor buildings.
Wonderpark — a fairground at dusk. Ferris wheels spin, teacups rotate, lights glow.
Field — wide open countryside with scattered obstacles. Perfect for learning and high-speed runs.
Japan / Tokyo — neon-lit city streets, torii gates and a dense urban skyline at night.
Runner — a stylised corridor gauntlet. Speed gates, tight gaps, relentless flow.
Canyon Run — a desert gorge of towering rock walls, natural stone arches and slot-canyon gaps to thread at speed.
Fractal — a psychedelic dreamscape of self-similar geometry: dive a Menger-sponge mind, thread golden-spiral gates, fly Mandelbrot monoliths and recursion trees, and find the whole world mirrored twice its size overhead.
Sandbox — place your own obstacles and design your own course.
10 AIRCRAFT
Each craft has its own weight, motor response and handling profile:
APEX 5 — 5" freestyle quad. Snappy, punchy, the all-rounder.
GHOST 5 — 5" freestyle with a softer tune. Floaty and forgiving.
VENOM R — 5" pure racer. Fast, stiff, unforgiving.
SILK 3 — 3.5" cinewhoop. Smooth and cinematic.
STING 2.5 — 2.5" sub-250g micro. Twitchy and quick.
HORIZON 7 — 7" long-range cruiser. Effortless power.
ROTOR CP — collective-pitch helicopter. A completely different challenge.
FLEX 3.5 — 3.5" freestyle. Nimble and punchy.
PICO 65 — 65mm 1S whoop. Tiny but fierce.
TITAN X8 — 8" cinelifter X8. Heavy, stable, cinematic lift.
FLIGHT MODES
Angle mode — self-levelling. Pick it up in minutes.
Acro mode — full manual. No self-level. The real FPV experience.
Switch between them at any time with a single key. Master one before moving to the other.
FEATURES
Broad controller support — FPV/RC radio transmitters in USB game-controller mode, plus Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and generic gamepads, with an in-game stick calibration wizard
Per-craft expo and rate tuning — adjustable Betaflight-style rates, PID, angle limits and camera tilt
Fine-tune the physics yourself — sliders for fall speed, apex hang, drag and more
Live lap timing and leaderboards on race maps
Time-of-day lighting — fly at dawn, noon, dusk or night
Wind simulation with turbulence
Cinematic post-processing — bloom, film grain, chromatic aberration, motion blur, adjustable sharpening
Render-scale and fast-render options to run smoothly from integrated graphics up to high-end GPUs
Battery simulation with real voltage sag
Dust kick on low-altitude passes
Portal teleportation between worlds — no loading screens
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Complete beginners — start in angle mode on Trippy Plains, get airborne in under 5 minutes.
Experienced FPV pilots — switch to acro, tune your rates, and use it as a muscle-memory trainer for the real thing.
Sim enthusiasts — 15 worlds, 10 craft, full physics. Enough variety to keep you flying for hours.

Big update graphics and new map
THE YARD is a new map, and it's now the one the game opens into. Built for freestyle: lamps to orbit, trees to thread, lines that keep going.HALLE 7 an enormous factory shed, 256 m end to end. Room mazes, racking runs, drop shafts and holes in the roof to dive through.THE ARCADE three levels of derelict shopping centre in bando, with an atrium you can take flat out from one end to the other. The apex zoom is gone. Chop the throttle at the top of a punch-out and the camera holds still instead of pumping. Want a completely fixed lens, like a real FPV camera? There's a switch for it on the start screen.Ground effect where the ground actually is hover over a rooftop or a container stack and the air pushes back. Before, only the ground at zero counted.New start screen, too.Read full article on Community Announcements (cskgcskg)Patch NotesOfficial
Freestyle spawn yard, and gravity that feels right
I've been flying a 5" freestyle quad and comparing it to the sim. On a real drone there is effectively zero hang at the apex chop the throttle and it falls, now. The sim floated. This version fixes the throttle spool-down that caused it, widens the tuning range so you can dial it yourself, and ships new defaults calibrated against real hardware.Invisible walls, gone. Two collider bugs found and fixed. Gate posts were generating colliders nearly double their real size, so you clipped air before the object. The square frames linking the buildings were worse a rotated bar's collider was 89% empty and reached about four metres in front of the frame. Both now hug the geometry. If you've ever hit nothing while threading a gap, that was this.A freestyle yard at spawn. 25 gates radiating from where you start square frames, heavy concrete gates, and four wide power-loop gates built for through-over-back. Plus ledges, skim rails, orbit poles and a lot more ground clutter to carry speed past. Also: dusk is the new default time of day, FOV is 120°, and the props sit where they should flat, at the edges, tips only.As always: if something feels wrong on the sticks, tell me. That's how this one got found.Read full article on Community Announcements (cskgcskg)AnnouncementsOfficial
Trippy Plains is out now
After about few months of building this using all the AIs I could get my hands on, Trippy Plains is live. It's an FPV freestyle simulator with 15 hand-built worlds a 1:1 slice of Westminster, a rocket launch site, an abandoned resort, a canyon with a castle, and one map that's a flyable fractal. Real flight physics with tunable rates, angle mode if you've never flown before, full acro if you have.A few things I care about:It runs on integrated graphics. No 3000-series required. No loading screens between worlds you fly through a portal and you're there.Every world is hand-placed, not generated filler.I built it solo, with AI as the tool that made it possible for one person. It's one HTML file, no game engine. If you fly it and something feels wrong the physics, a collision, a map tell me here. I read everything and I ship updates every couple of weeks. Thanks for taking a look.Read full article on Community Announcements (cskgcskg)
