  Dev Diary No.1 : A Little Behind-the-Scenes Look

  Hey Sushi Chefs 👨‍🍳🍣 ! We wanted to take a little moment to show you what we’ve been working on lately. We already share quite a few sneak peeks on Discord, but with these Dev Diaries, we’d like to go a bit further and show you more of the game as it develops.One of the things we’ve been spending quite a bit of time on recently is character customization.We really want your character to feel like your chef, especially when you’re playing with friends. You’ll be able to customize different parts of your appearance, including your hair, face, clothes, and various accessories, so you can create the chef you actually want to play as.We’re still adding and improving the different customization options, but during our multiplayer tests, it’s already really fun to see each player walk into the restaurant with their own style.We’ve also continued working on Yuki 🐶And of course, we couldn’t let you customize your chef without letting you do the same for Yuki. You’ll be able to give him his own little look with hats, some pretty ridiculous glasses, different accessories, and plenty of other things. We’re having a lot of fun with this part, and some combinations are already starting to get… interesting during our tests. 😅 But we also want Yuki to be more than just a decoration in the restaurant. You’ll need to take care of him from time to time and keep an eye on his needs. We’re still trying to find the right balance for this part. We really don’t want taking care of Yuki to feel like a chore or like another task you constantly have to keep track of. The idea is more about having a few calm little moments with him in between managing the restaurant.We’re also running playtests right now!   The Sushi Restaurant Simulator Playtest is coming 🎉

  We are very happy to finally be able to open our game to our very first playtesters! After months of development, it is finally time to open the doors of our restaurant to you! This very first Playtest marks a very important milestone for us, and we would be truly delighted to have you among the players who will discover and test the game. Discover Sushi Restaurant SimulatorSushi Restaurant Simulator is a cooperative cooking game for up to 4 players. Prepare sushi and Japanese specialties, serve your customers, and most importantly… survive the Rush!
