About this game
miniBattle is a bite-sized, turn-based battle game with an oldskool heart. Take turns moving across procedurally generated battlefields and lob shots over hills and trees — but mind the wind, or your grenade drifts wide.
Features
🎯 Turn-based tactics — 2 actions per turn, a 60-second clock, and no two battlefields alike (procedurally generated every match).
💣 Five weapons — Pistol, Machine Gun, Grenade, Cluster Grenade and a long-range Grenade Launcher that leaves craters in the ground.
🌬️ Wind & ballistics — set your angle and power; the wind does the rest. Optional Aim Assist shows a calm-weather trajectory while you still judge the gusts.
🌫️ Fog of War — you only see what's in your line of sight. Hunt enemies by the "!" sound markers they leave when they shoot or move.
🏴 Two modes — Last Man Standing and Capture the Flag.
📦 Airdrops — first-aid kits, ammo and grenades drop into the field as the fight heats up.
🤖 Smart bots — practice solo with ruthless opponents.
🛋️ Local hotseat — pass-and-play on a single screen. Gather your friends around one machine and settle the score the old-fashioned way — perfect for game nights. Like we used to.
🌐 Online multiplayer via Steam — host or browse open games, and climb the Online leaderboards!
Pull up a chair, soldier. It's quick to learn, easy to lose an evening to.

Hotfix 0.7.2 — Tournament round transitions
Hotfix 0.7.2 Fixed: in some rare occasions the tournament did not continue to the next round for all players. Round transitions are now delivered over multiple redundant channels, so everyone moves on together. Added extra logging around match start to help us diagnose any remaining connectivity hiccups. Please make sure all players are updated to 0.7.2 before starting an online tournament. Thanks for the reports — keep them coming! 🎖Read full article on Community Announcements (Uni)Patch NotesOfficial
Hotfix 0.7.1 — Tournament info in lobby & server browser
Hotfix 0.7.1 A small quality-of-life update following the Tournament Mode release: Lobby now shows the match setup — game mode, map size and tournament rounds (e.g. Capture the flag · 100 m · Tournament: 5 rounds), so everyone knows what they're signing up for before the first shot is fired. Server browser shows tournaments — the Mode column now reads e.g. CTF ×5 for a 5-round tournament, or just CTF / LMS for a single match. Note: the new info is shown for lobbies hosted on 0.7.1 — update and host away! Thanks for the feedback, and happy hunting! 🎖Read full article on Community Announcements (Uni)Community & EventsOfficial
Tournament Mode is here!
🏆 Tournament Mode is here! MiniBattle 0.7.0 introduces a brand new way to play: Tournaments — a multi-round battle where consistency wins the crown. How it works The host (or you, in local play) picks 2–10 rounds in Game Settings → Tournament rounds. Each round is a full match — Capture the Flag or Last Man Standing — on a freshly generated map. Every point you earn counts toward your tournament total: match wins, captured flags, damage dealt and airdrop pickups. Between rounds you'll see the standings — who's leading, and by how much. After the final round, the player with the highest total score is crowned the tournament champion! Works everywhere Online — rounds chain automatically for the whole lobby, and you return to the lobby when the tournament ends. Local — hotseat with friends or against bots. Yes, the bots are competing for points too. Don't let them win. Scoring CTF match win: 1000 · LMS match win: 1800 Captured flag: 300 Damage dealt: 1 point per HP Airdrop pickup: 25 Losing a round doesn't knock you out — flags, damage and pickups keep you in the race. A steady performer can beat a lucky winner! ⚠️ Version note Online play requires all players to be on 0.7.0 — older versions are not compatible with this update. GLHF, commanders — see you on the battlefield! 🎖Read full article on Community Announcements (Uni)AnnouncementsOfficial
