THE FARM OF THE LIVING is a dark, text-based interactive adventure where your choices dictate the thin line between survival and ruin.
The winter is coming, the silos are burning, and the dead are gathering outside the walls. As the First Ranger of the last agricultural sanctuary, you are responsible not only for defending the gates, but for holding a fracturing community together.
Will you rule with iron-fisted Authority, preserve your Humanity at all costs, or walk the path of Shadows to uncover the truth?
KEY FEATURES:
15 Unique Endings & High Replayability: Your choices are never cosmetic. With a complex branching narrative of 400 sections, the story can conclude in 15 radically different ways. Will you establish a new civil order, be exiled into the freezing wastes, spark a bloody civil war, or see the sanctuary burn to the ground? Every playthrough reveals new secrets and paths.
17 Tracked Statistics: Your character sheet is a living document. The game constantly monitors 17 different parameters, including your personal traits (Authority, Cunning, Humanity, Shadow), community resources (Supplies, Morale, Defenses, Stability), and your changing relationships with key factions and characters.
Investigate the Sabotage: A devastating fire has destroyed your winter food supply, and the locks were sealed from the inside. Search for clues, manage key evidence, cross-examine suspects, and expose the traitor before the community tears itself apart from within.
Tense Faction Intrigues: Maintain a fragile peace inside the walls. Balance the demands of the political Council, the ambitions of the aggressive local Militia, and the loyalty of your own Rangers. One wrong move, one biased accusation, and the sanctuary will plunge into internal warfare.
A Grim, Fully Illustrated Journey: Immerse yourself in the bleak atmosphere of the homestead. The game features a complete gallery of over 340 unique illustrations and generic backup scenes that bring the cold wind, the burning grain, and the dread of the non-dead to life.
