About this game
Ski Lines is a minimalist strategy simulation game about designing a ski resort map.
Draw ski runs, build lifts, and connect mountain landmarks as new points of interest appear across the slopes. Every day, more skiers arrive, new destinations open, and your resort becomes harder to keep flowing.
Your goal is simple: keep skiers moving.

Start with a small mountain and a handful of resources. Connect stations, summits, viewpoints, restaurants, refuges, and rescue points with the right mix of pistes and lifts. Easy runs are flexible, harder runs are more demanding, and every new connection changes the shape of your network.
But the mountain is not just a blank canvas. Snow cannons let you expand the skiable area, while tree clearing allows you to open new routes through the forest. Upgrade your lifts, improve your tools, and choose carefully where to invest your limited resources.
As the days pass, the resort grows busier. New points of interest appear, skiers demand better routes, and bottlenecks begin to form. Redesign your network, extend the domain, and adapt before the slopes become overwhelmed.

Patch NotesOfficial
Patch 0.1.1
Patch 0.1.1 is here! This update focuses on a few things that quickly came up while watching people play the demo: making trail removal much less frustrating, giving you a little more freedom at the start of a game… and planting a lot more trees.✏️ Better trail removalThe trail removal tool has been completely reworked.Previously, right-clicking a trail could remove an entire section, sometimes considerably more than you intended. Now, trails are erased meter by meter, giving you much more precise control over what you want to change. And you don't have to click fifty times to erase a longer section: keep the button pressed and the tool will continuously remove chunks of the same trail.Fix a corner, shorten a trail or completely rethink a connection without accidentally deleting half the mountain.Much better.🎒 More starting resourcesWe've also increased the resources available when starting a new game. You now begin with:200m of trail4 lift tokens4 snow cannons instead of 120 tree removals instead of 04 upgrades instead of 0The amount of trail and number of lift tokens remain unchanged, but the additional tools should give you significantly more room to react to the mountain from the very beginning.Especially those tree removals.Which brings us to…🌲 Denser forestsYou thought the tree cutting tool was useless?Think again.Forests are now considerably denser.Trees should feel like an actual part of the terrain you need to work around rather than the occasional decorative obstacle. Sometimes you'll find a way through them.Sometimes you'll have to spend a few precious tree removals. And sometimes a perfectly placed tree will ruin your entire plan.As nature intended. As always, thanks to everyone playing the demo and sending us feedback. A lot of the changes in this patch come directly from watching where things felt unnecessarily frustrating or where some of the game's tools weren't useful enough yet.Keep building questionable ski resorts. We'll keep improving the mountain.Read full article on Community Announcements (Yunogames)AnnouncementsOfficial
The Ski Lines Demo Is Out Now! 🎿
It’s finally time. The Ski Lines demo is now available on Steam! You can now jump in, draw your first pistes, build ski lifts and attempt to keep an increasingly questionable mountain transport network under control.🏔️ Build your ski resortIn Ski Lines, you design your own ski area directly on the mountain.Connect stations, summits and points of interest with pistes, build and upgrade ski lifts, and keep an eye on how skiers move through your network. It starts simple. Then one piste gets overcrowded, a new station appears in exactly the wrong place, and suddenly your beautifully organised resort needs some… adjustments.🎮 What’s in the demo? The demo includes two playable resorts, each offering a different way to discover Ski Lines:Ski Dubai — play the complete level with no demo-specific score or day limit. Build your network, keep expanding and see how long you can keep the resort moving.Grand Tourmalet — experience the opening days of a much larger mountain. Progression is capped at 2,000 points, which will usually take you through the first three or four days.Across both resorts, you’ll be able to draw pistes, build and upgrade lifts, connect new points of interest, use snow cannons, clear trees and adapt your network as more skiers arrive. The demo also includes full controller support, so you can play with mouse and keyboard, a gamepad, or on Steam Deck.💬 We want your feedbackSki Lines is still in development, and releasing the demo is a huge opportunity for us to see how people actually play the game.If something feels confusing, frustrating, unbalanced — or if you simply have an idea that would make the game better — we’d love to hear it.You can leave your feedback here on Steam, join us on Discord, or come chat with us on Reddit.Every bit of feedback helps.❤️ Thank youA lot has changed since we first started showing Ski Lines. We’ve rebuilt interfaces, redesigned mechanics, redrawn mountains, added controller support, watched far too many geometric skiers get stuc...Read full article on Community Announcements (Yunogames)AnnouncementsOfficial
Controller, Sunlight, Freedom
🎮 Ski Lines now supports controllers We finally added full controller support. At first, we were pretty sceptical.Ski Lines is all about moving around a large map, selecting things precisely and, most importantly, drawing pistes. On paper, it felt like the kind of game that would always be more comfortable with a mouse.Turns out that’s not really the case.To our surprise, the controller feels extremely good to use.Navigation feels natural, the shortcuts quickly become second nature, and drawing pistes with an analogue stick is much more pleasant than we expected. We’ve actually found ourselves playing this way quite a lot. It’s also an important step towards making Ski Lines much more comfortable to play on a Steam Deck or from the couch.☀️ A fresh coat of paintWe’ve also spent quite a bit of time improving the game’s visual atmosphere.Ski Lines is still deliberately designed around its minimalist ski-map aesthetic, but the world now feels much less flat. The game now features proper shadows, sun rays sweeping across the mountains and clouds surrounding the maps.Individually, they’re fairly simple additions.Together, they give the mountains a lot more depth and atmosphere. And, most importantly…It looks a lot better than it did before.🏔️ Welcome to Sandbox ModeA normal game of Ski Lines is all about building under pressure.Tools are limited. The mountain becomes progressively harder to manage. And, most importantly, every skier needs to make it home before 6 PM.But sometimes, optimisation isn’t the point.Sometimes, we just want to build. That’s why every map in Ski Lines now comes with its own Sandbox Mode.In Sandbox, the usual rules disappear:every tool is available in unlimited quantities;skiers no longer have to be home by 6 PM;we can build and experiment without worrying about the score or the end of the day.A tiny ski area can become a ridiculous network of pistes and lifts. We can rebuild an entire mountain, try questionable layouts or simply attempt to create the pre...Read full article on Community Announcements (Yunogames)AnnouncementsOfficial
