About this game
Remember when you could finish a season in a weekend? LeManager is a spiritual successor to the golden age of football management games, when simulation depth did not compromise speed. Whether you have five minutes to play or an afternoon, LeManager's speed puts you right back in control of your club.
Feature highlights
Performance Analysis: Analyse your team, past matches, and opponents in one place, using statistical tools and graphs to help you manage your team better.

Divergent Scout Reports: Scouts can disagree while discussing the same player. Send them to analyse players or recommend targets based on weaknesses identified by your Chief Scout, and see their individual judgements challenge each other.

Player egos & incidents: Manage your players’ egos, talk to your star player, and try to influence his difficult personality over time. How well will you manage the incidents he provokes? Watch the locker room react to how you handle difficult players.

Player Development Graph: Watch your wonderkid evolve over time through the key attributes for his position, or select the ones you want to follow. See what affects his development.

Club Hub: Interact with your scouts as they deliver reports, ask your assistant to start negotiations with players you have targeted, meet with the Board for your monthly performance review, reply to players’ private messages, and see the locker room’s reaction to your decisions.

And all the features you expect from a football management game:
Recruit and sell players during transfer windows, add them to your shortlist, and manage unsolicited offers from other clubs
Train players individually or as a squad, and schedule sessions in advance
Make promises to your players and hold short conversations with them
Set tactics and instructions before and during matches
Play endless seasons, watch your gems retire, and see new hot prospects emerge from your academy
The story of LeManager
Earlier in my career, I worked at Eidos France (later part of Square Enix) as a database researcher for the French-speaking leagues on Championship Manager 2008 and 2010 (developed by Beautiful Game Studios) and handled French-language community work for the series. I've owned the domain since 2003 and never found the right project for it until now. LeManager is an independent game I built on my own, inspired by the football management games I fell in love with as a player.
LeManager is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any rights holder.

Closing the Playtest for now
Playtest signups close today. If you already have access, you keep it, and you keep getting updates. Here's why. What you played is a beta, and the part that matters most isn't good enough yet. The football itself. I'm rebuilding the match engine from scratch, because the old one had reached the point where fixing one behaviour broke another. The new one works differently: players read what's around them and decide what to do with the ball, and their attributes drive those decisions. A striker shoots because he sees a chance, not because a number said a goal was due. It's early. It's already better football. It isn't ready to be played. The engine is the biggest piece, but it isn't the only one. What you played is a solid foundation, and that's honestly all it is yet. That's the gap I'm closing, and it's bigger than one system. Opening a playtest for a game whose centre I'm in the middle of replacing doesn't serve anyone. Better to close the door, do the work, and open it again when there's something worth your evening. Two things I want to be clear about. No Early Access. LeManager won't be sold unfinished. Testing a game used to be work that people were paid to do, and I don't think that cost should quietly shift onto the people most excited about it. You'll pay once, for a finished game, or not at all. No release date. I don't have one, and I'd rather say that than name a month and miss it. It's ready when the football is right. Everything that changes gets posted here and on the Discord. Thank you to everyone who requested access and installed it, and especially to the handful who took the time to write up what they saw. Those reports changed what I'm working on this month. Until next time. Just one more match. LudoRead full article on Community Announcements (LudoCar)AnnouncementsOfficial

Anything that stops you playing. The Windows build is the newest part of this, so it needs the most eyes. The match engine. Do the results, the scorelines and the way players behave feel like football to you? That's where I most need people who know the game to be hard on it.Before reporting something, check the known issues. A fair amount is already on that list, including match engine behaviour I'm working on. Where to send itThe Discord. That's where I read everything and where you'll hear what changed. Steam discussions work too, but Discord gets a faster answer. Thanks for playing it early. Until next time. Just one more match. LudoRead full article on Community Announcements (LudoCar)
