TenderBoard — New Tender System (development)

Hi!I’m doing my best. I really want to release the major update by the first of the month, but I don’t want to promise anything yet — there is simply too much work to do.I can spend 20 hours a day working with the engine and everything related to the technical side of the game, but my designer simply can’t keep up with such a large workload.Right now, I’m looking for an additional designer so this doesn’t become a problem in the future — and so eventually I’ll be the one drowning in work instead of the design side 🙂Today, we have another new computer application:TenderBoardI heard your requests for a proper tender system and the ability to customize your proposals.Let me put it this way: there will be around 15 different parameters that you’ll be able to adjust when preparing your offer.Money and deadlines are obvious. There will also be insurance options, but of a new type. In the first version, they will directly affect the final result percentage.Later, they will also influence the “dialogues” and inspections that happen during construction. There will also be one feature that, secretly, won’t be fully functional during the first week after the update releases. The Warranty Period.A little advice in advance: I wouldn’t recommend setting extremely long warranty periods in this window. The system will be designed to work with existing save files as well, and if you decide to set a 100-year warranty… I’m afraid you may find yourself sending workers back to old projects quite often just to avoid losing reputation 🙂I’m still thinking about how refusing warranty obligations should work, but most likely breaking your commitments will cost you a significant amount of money and reputation. At the moment, this application is exactly 50% complete. From the development side, TenderBoard will contain 10 windows in total. There are 5 windows here, plus another 10 in the subcontractor hiring application. Also, following player requests, whenever I’m waiting for new images/assets and c...

    BuildPermit Website — Future Update

Hi!I’m doing my best. I really want to release the big update by the first of the month, but I don’t want to promise anything yet — there is simply too much work to do.The good news is that the first “website” is now ready:BuildPermitI’ll just leave a new screenshot here. When I say “ready,” I mean that visually I’ve already implemented everything you can see on the screen, and the system itself is partially or fully connected through scripts to the existing game database. So if you notice a typo, mistake, or anything else, feel free to let me know. I’ll still be checking everything many more times before release anyway.Right now, I’m continuing development and working on the next “website” — TenderBoard.I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself, but at the time of the update’s release there will most likely be around 70 (I hope..) new contracts — approximately 10 for each license category. After the update is released, I’ll continue expanding the system with more contracts and content at a calmer pace.I hope you understand.Thank you!And as always…I fix. I read. I work! 🦝🔧

The Next Big Step for Construction Company

Hi!There hasn’t been much news lately, and for the most part I’ve been releasing smaller patches based on your reports — fixing things like overlapping text, localization issues, UI problems, and other smaller details.I really want to bring you a major update, but this one is going to take some time. There is simply a lot of work involved — both on my side and on the design side.According to my current plan, the next major update should add roughly as much new gameplay time as the game already has now. At a certain point, you may even be able to almost forget about the main office, because a large part of the new gameplay will take place in your Personal Office. At the moment, around 27 new windows are planned. Some of them will be similar to each other, but all of this will be spread across just three applications on your office computer.CAB.site This is where the subcontractor system will be located. You’ll be able to hire subcontractors directly. You’ll also be able to create requests for contracts and wait for different companies to respond to your offer. These requests may even be available for regular contracts. After that, you’ll be able to choose the most suitable company from the list of applicants. This section will also show your active agreements with subcontractors and your active construction contracts. TenderBor.site This will be the main tender system.A new company ranking system will appear here.At this point, you are no longer just a small company working for one city. You’re entering a much bigger game, where reputation starts to matter much more. There will be tenders, bidding, competition with other companies, and the ability to offer more attractive terms to the client.Get ready to negotiate and fight for contracts. After winning a tender, you’ll also decide how you want to approach the project.Do you want to save money, take more risks, and make a bigger profit?Or would you rather invest more into the project and build your company’s reputation?Your r...
