Content notice: Wortgewandt is a text-based word game. It has no sexual content, violence, drug use, or self-harm — not in pictures and not in any story. Because the game uses large German word lists, rude or dirty words can sometimes show up (for example, slang words with a sexual or toilet-related meaning). These only appear as plain text while you play, never as pictures, and they are not what the game is about. In multiplayer and chat features, you may also see text written by other players. We cannot check this text before it appears.

Patch NotesOfficial
Wortgewandt 1.0.4
These final patches clean up where it hit streamers hardest: audio in the capture, room codes, and getting back in after server maintenance. Audio – OBS now captures everything Music and game sounds now play straight out of the game process on Windows (WASAPI). OBS Application Audio Capture and Game Capture finally hear both – before, all they got was silence, because the audio was produced in a grandchild process of the WebView. Music and sounds share a single audio session under Wortgewandt.exe – one source in OBS instead of two competing ones. The sound preview in Advanced Settings now plays through the same path as the game – so it sounds like what it is demonstrating. The countdown sound no longer starts twice (two attempts a few milliseconds apart). Playback errors in the music stream no longer cause dropouts in the capture. Room code and joining Room codes survive planned server restarts. After maintenance you get your previous code back – the link in your stream overlay and in chat stays valid. The room code and join link now appear in the OBS view as well. Public rooms now list only games hosted from the Steam app – no more Twitch/web sessions mixed in. The room list now shows the host's interface language and the word list being played Joining a Twitch/web room from the Steam app now opens cleanly as a spectator view. Maintenance and getting back in The Twitch chat mirror switches itself back on after a session reset if it was on before. A manually loaded save now takes you to the results screen instead of starting the next level right away. Interface The chat column can be resized by dragging – in the Steam app and in Party Mode. Verified top player: verified accounts carry a trust badge on the results screen, explained in the tooltip. The supporter thank-you can be viewed again at any time via the badge in the main menu. Larger labels on the settings tabs. The Steam-exclusive theme now shows up visibly locked in the web version instead of being missing. ...Read full article on Community Announcements (AresWorks)
