About this game

Survive. Build. Multiply.

Gridmax is a survival colony simulator where you begin as a single stranded survivor on a dangerous alien world.

Gather resources, craft tools, build shelters, and fight against hunger, hostile creatures, and the environment itself. As your settlement grows, so does your ability to expand, automate tasks, and develop a thriving colony.

Starting with nothing but your own hands, you'll need to make difficult decisions about food, construction, exploration, and survival. Build ovens, storage boxes, beds, shrines, and other structures to improve your chances of survival.

Key Features

Survival First

Food is limited. The environment is dangerous. Every decision matters as you struggle to stay alive long enough to establish a permanent settlement.

Build Your Settlement

Construct buildings, organize resources, and transform the wilderness into a functioning colony.

Grow Your Colony

Create new settlers and expand beyond a lone survivor. More colonists mean more workers, but also more mouths to feed.

Craft Equipment and Resources

Gather materials from the environment and turn them into tools, food, structures, and equipment needed to survive.

Procedural Worlds

Each game begins in a unique location with its own challenges, resources, and opportunities.

Direct Character Control

Take direct control of your survivor while also managing the growth and development of your settlement.

Early Access

Gridmax is currently in active development. Early Access will focus on expanding colony management, exploration, travel between regions, automation systems, additional structures, new creatures, and long-term progression.
