About this game

Caravanier is an immersive post-apocalyptic merchant RPG set within the decaying hull of the ruined starliner, the Columbia. As a caravanier, your survival depends entirely on your wits, your ledger, and your ability to navigate a shifting world of rival factions.
Master a Dynamic Economy: Barter physical goods or exchange local currencies across shifting markets. Buy low in desperate outposts and sell high in thriving trade hubs. But be careful, as making too many bad offers might get you kicked out of town

Fight the Encroaching Darkness: The Columbia's wreckage is consumed by darkness, riddled with bandits, and home to twisted abominations. As your caravan travels, your crew's morale slowly drains. Keep them fed and rested, or watch your low morale chip away at your crew's sanity, making the darkness seemingly come alive

Shape the Fate of the Columbia: Take on special orders that branch the narrative. Your choices can earn you crucial caravan upgrades, stronger town alliances, and seasoned guards to protect your cargo.

Navigate a Divided World: Humanity has fractured. Balance your relationships between the two major powers: Amerikaners, the keepers of the old flame of liberty, and the Catolicos, the old church reborn in this fallen world.

Update 0.8
Hello beautiful people! Much progress has been made in this update. The Relations menu (blue button) is fully functional. Bringing a layer of fun exploration to the game, as you when you first discover a town it will be recorded in the menu and you'll be given a little tidbit about the town. Some major mechanical additions and reworks to trade as well. All in preparation for the Steam Demo launch (sometime in September). Enough summarizing, here's the change list:Relations MenuEach faction tab contains info boxes for each town associated with the factionEntering a town adds its info to your bookThis comes with a description and unique art for the townTradeAdded town Cash StashesTowns now have a limited amount of each currency to tradeChanges on town Restock datesTrading in currencies will raise or lower the town's cash stashTrade Acceptance ReworkThe ratio of sell/buy that determined acceptance chance has been loweredYes this makes the game easier, but it was just too hard elsewise. They no longer reset to full on a town's restock dateMiscellaneousBandits now steal from a random currency in your possession, rather than a set order of Chips (if you had), then Denari (if you had), and finally BierMarkTweaks to Caravan keyboard movement to keep parity with speed in mouse movement Added various sound effectsAdded a main menu to start the game atAdded a settings menuCurrently you can only adjust the volume levels, but I'll probably add more stuff eventuallyRead full article on Community Announcements (Ellie Achre)Patch NotesOfficial
