Meet Rick and Hazelia
Meet two of the NPCs you’ll encounter in the gameRick runs the local guild and general storeHazelia works at the museumnot going to dive too deep into their personalities or stories here. I’ll leave that for the game.I’ve also made some small adjustments to the sprite sizes to better match the scale of other objects in the game. You might notice that the player character is currently a bit larger than the NPCs. I will make the sizes consistent later.Join my Discord server if you would like to chat, ask questions or share feedback.Read full article on Community Announcements (Burnt Waffle)AnnouncementsOfficial
Hi, early birds!
Hi everyone! It’s been a little while since Savory Seasons: Brizmere first showed up on Steam, so I thought I should finally say hello.Brizmere is a solo project, so it’s mostly just me quietly chipping away at it one piece at a time. I’ve been working on it for quite a while, and it still feels a little strange (in a good way!) to know that people are actually finding it on Steam now.The game is still pretty early in development, and there’s a lot left to do. Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on the farming and cooking side of the game, and I recently updated the Steam page with a new trailer, screenshots, and a better look at the farm-to-table side of Brizmere.Next up, I’m going to spend more time on the town itself and the people who live there. I’m working on a couple of residents right now, and hopefully I’ll be able to introduce them properly soon.A big part of Brizmere for me is the town and the people in it. I want it to feel like somewhere you slowly get to know, rather than just a place where you grow crops and check things off a list. There are still a lot of empty spaces to fill in, so that’s what I’ll be working on for a while.Anyway, I mostly just wanted to say hi to those of you who somehow found Brizmere this early. Thanks for stopping by, and thank you if you’ve already wishlisted the game. It really does mean a lot.I’ll share more as things come together.See you around Brizmere!Read full article on Community Announcements (Burnt Waffle)
