About this game

Hello everyone, when I was a child, I loved reading "Aviation World" magazine and dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot. This game has made my childhood dream come true, and I hope all military enthusiasts will enjoy it as well.

The game revolves around real-time combat. It is not a pure survivor game; rather, it incorporates many RTS elements. In battle, you can call in allied forces and make basic tactical deployments based on the situation. When to request reinforcements, what type of allies to call in, and how to coordinate your advance rhythm and firepower direction will all affect the distribution of battlefield pressure and the overall pace of combat. Both allied and enemy forces feature multiple AI behavior patterns with distinct personalities, including suicide squads, high-speed assault units, guardians, and more.

After earning rewards in battle, you will gradually unlock more pilotable mechs and combat abilities. Different mechs have varying speed, firepower, survivability, and tactical tendencies—some are better suited for high-speed breakthroughs, some excel at frontal suppression, and others perform more steadily in prolonged engagements. Adapting your choices based on enemy compositions and mission pacing will become a key part of achieving victory.

If you enjoy fast-paced top-down shooting experiences, oppressive battlefield advances, and the sense of achievement from continuous unlocking and progression, then Fantasy Naval & Air Showdown will bring you an explosive, maneuver-filled, firepower-packed fantasy aerial and naval battle.

    Game is released!

Today, the game is officially released. I hope you all enjoy it.Let me briefly go over the key points of the game:This is not a "survivor-like" game. You'll need large numbers of reinforcements to fight against enemies. On the battlefield, you can press the H key to call in free reinforcements, or spend resources to purchase additional ones.Upgrading your own mech gives you significantly stronger solo combat capabilities, but it will still be very difficult to clear stages alone—at least, that's how I designed it.Reinforcements can also be upgraded to stronger variants, but the purchase price will increase after each upgrade. Each fighter has its own unique traits, so please allocate your upgrade points wisely. As you upgrade, special abilities will gradually unlock.Various bonuses will appear on the battlefield. Discover and experience them for yourself as you play. The game now supports its first MOD, allowing you to freely change the background music for Stages 1 through 6. I personally really enjoy the music from the shooter games I played as a kid. Simply place your favorite songs in the MOD folder in the root directory, and name them level1.mp3 through level6.mp3.I'll continue to release free updates in the future. Here are the main features I'm currently considering:Achievement system and cloud save supportEndless modeEmpire campaign (at least 1 new stage, plus 2 empire-themed fighters)Small mission stages—after completing each main stage, additional side missions will unlock, such as taking down special enemy bomber formationsUpdated and improved game assets, animations, and musicI haven't finalized the direction for future development yet. Depending on how much you all enjoy the game, I'm considering whether to add: a MOD system, an LLM AI command system, two-player mode, or online multiplayer. Finally, the original inspiration for making this game came from my childhood love for all kinds of fighter aircraft. As for the game system, the idea came from a racin...

Demo version has finally gone live

After months of hard work, the demo version has finally gone live.I'm about to start development on the full version. In the early stages, I designed a lot of systems to be modular and configurable, so subsequent levels will mainly involve configuration—this also lays the groundwork for enabling a creative workshop in the future. In addition, I plan to implement more unit upgrade features and reward items.Today, for the demo version, I added controller instructions, updated the homepage animation, added clouds to the battlefield, and fixed some multilingual support bugs.Next up is designing Level 2. Level 2 is expected to feature jet fighters and large-scale naval units in chaotic battles, with fighters carrying torpedoes and advanced missiles starting to appear. In Level 2, the Imperial forces will begin to see the introduction of large numbers of units from new nations. The game is centered on the conflict between the Allied forces and the Empire. The levels I'm working on now are for the Allies, and I hope to have the opportunity to work on Empire levels in the future.I hope you all enjoy it. If there are any combat units you'd like to see me create, feel free to let me know. Based on the language distribution among my followers, I'll prioritize making combat units styled after the corresponding regions. :-)Thank you all!
