About this game
Call the Cat: Galaxy is a casual action game about exploring tiny planets, painting their surfaces, and expanding your territory across the galaxy.
Travel through space with Ruru, a cat wearing a spacesuit.
Land on small planets, collect treats, paint the ground, and dodge or defeat the creatures that live there until each world belongs to the cats.
■ Explore the Galaxy
Travel through a sweet cookie universe, a freezing ice universe, a burning-hot universe, and a chaotic universe where different elements collide.
Take on small, medium, and large planets in order.
Walk, jump, throw objects, and paint each planet as you explore.
Every planet you conquer expands the cats' territory on the galaxy map.
■ Cat Headquarters
After an expedition, Ruru returns to headquarters.
Upgrade your home and spaceship before launching toward another planet.
As your headquarters grows, continue your journey farther across the galaxy.
Lie down on the bed at headquarters to enter a very different kind of adventure.
■ Dream LogNyang
Dream LogNyang is a separate survival combat mode.
Fight waves of monsters, face powerful bosses, and survive as long as you can.
Choose new ability cards during battle to grow stronger and create different combinations each run.
Ruru and Dodo have different combat styles, giving you different ways to approach the same battles.
Slimes, food monsters, elemental attacks, dangerous ground effects, and powerful bosses stand in your way.
Build your abilities and challenge higher difficulties.

Free-to-Play Date Updated to September 28
Hi everyone,On September 28, Call the Cat will become free to play on Steam.I originally planned to make the game free on September 17, but Steam let me know that newly released games cannot have their price changed until 30 days after release. Because of that policy, I’ve moved the free-to-play date to September 28.If you already own the game, nothing changes. It stays in your library permanently and everything you have is kept.To everyone who bought it since launch: thank you. You paid for this game when it had a price on it, and that is not something I take lightly. You are the reason it got finished, and the reason there is a next one.Why I'm doing this. Rather than leave the game sitting behind a price tag, I would rather have as many people as possible actually play it. It's a small game about cats, and it belongs in more hands than a price tag allows. What's in it. Two ways to play. Galaxy is the main mode: launch from your station, land on planets, clear out what's living there, and paint the surface to claim it. What you bring home builds your base — a shop, a farm, a power plant, and eventually the station and the ship themselves. Cold worlds, hot worlds, and worlds that simply do not sit still.Dream is the arena run: waves of enemies, a card drafted between fights, and a roster of cats to unlock. No two runs are shaped the same.I'm posting this in advance so that anyone thinking about buying right now can decide with full information. If you'd rather wait, September 28 is the day.Come play. Bring a friend who likes cats.— barendevlogRead full article on Community Announcements (CBA)Patch NotesOfficial

Major System Overhaul Incoming — New Galaxy Mode Update
Hello, this is the Call the Cat team.In late August, the base version of the game will be replaced with an entirely new build. This isn't a small patch — it's a full system overhaul that includes a complete engine change. We rebuilt the game on a new engine for a more stable, smoother experience. As part of this change, we removed the old Healing mode to make room for more fun, and replaced it with brand-new content: Galaxy mode. Explore space and conquer planets in a completely new way to play. The LogMode you already know and love stays exactly as it is, and most of your existing save data will carry over so you can keep playing right where you left off. This replacement build isn't the final, polished release — think of it as a beta-style transition version on the way to the full release. Since we're overhauling the game's systems from the ground up, there may be some rough edges, and we'll keep refining and polishing it going forward. You can try the new version right now in the demo. The full (paid) version will receive the same upgrade later, with additional fixes and polish based on what we learn from the demo.Thank you for your continued support of the new Call the Cat — we'd love to hear your feedback.Read full article on Community Announcements (CBA)
