About this game

TWO GAMES. ONE PURCHASE. EVERY UPDATE FREE — FOREVER.

CerbCade is an arcade machine from Hell: every game we ever add to it is yours, free, for as long as it exists. It launches with two.

— GAME ONE: HELLFALL —

HELLFALL is a physics-driven action platformer where you descend through the nine circles of Hell — swinging, shooting, and stomping your way past demons, lava, and the ever-watchful Cerberus.

SWING OR FALL

Hold LMB to hook your pitchfork into rock and launch yourself across platforms. Let go at the wrong moment and you're lava food. Master the grapple and you'll fly through Hell like you own it.

CHOOSE YOUR FATE

Salvation Mode — Checkpoints and lava resets per layer. Learn the descent.

Damned Mode — No saves. No mercy. No excuses. Your run goes on the leaderboard.

Daily Challenge — Same seed. Everyone. Today only.

New Game+ — Harder. Smaller. Faster. You asked for it.

FACE CERBERUS

Three acts. Three boss fights. Cerberus gets harder each time — and he's been watching you the whole way down.

CURSE YOURSELF FOR GLORY

Take on up to 7 run modifiers to crank the difficulty and your score multiplier. One blessing exists. Use it wisely.

— GAME TWO: GRAVE SHIFT —

GRAVE SHIFT is a top-down wave survival shooter set in an ever-shifting graveyard. The undead pour in from every direction. Your only job is to hold the line.

EVERY BULLET IS A DECISION

Bullets cost gold. Every kill earns it back — then the wave ends and you choose: repair the bunker, stock health kits, or climb the weapon ladder. Run dry and it's over.

THEY KEEP COMING

Endless waves. Walkers swarm, Runners flank, Tanks soak everything you've got. How far can you go?

TWO WAYS TO DIE

Casual — Saves after every wave. Continue anytime.

Damned — No saves. Faster, tougher enemies. ESC won't save you.

— THE ARCADE —

Both games live in the CerbCade hub: your player profile and level, lifetime stats, the Damned Mode leaderboard, and a full achievement gallery spanning both games.

    v1.3.1 Hotfix — Grapple Restored

Hotfix for issues introduced in the v1.3 update: The grapple is back to exactly its launch behavior. v1.3's "aim assists" broke hooking the platform you're standing on — the slingshot along your own ledge works again, verified identical to the original physics. The Cerberus health bar moved down beside your own health bar, so the top of the arena is clear during the fight. The boss arena camera no longer shows half a screen of empty backdrop — the floor stays in view just above the HUD. Fixed a missing-glyph box in the ENRAGED indicator. If your muscle memory hated v1.3's grapple: it's the old one again. Sorry, and thanks for the fast reports.

v1.3 — The Big Visual Overhaul

The first major update since launch — and it's a big one. Both games have been repainted from the menus all the way into the actual gameplay, plus a stack of feel and quality-of-life fixes. HELLFALL Every circle of Hell is now a painted place. The descent used to fall through flat color — now each of the 42 circles has real painted architecture, graded to its own palette, from the cold violet gates down to the molten core. Rock platforms are rim-lit and read as solid, hot stone against the depths. Lava is painted molten crust with real bloom coming off it. New grapple reticle — you can finally see exactly which rock your pitchfork will catch before you throw it, with a little aim forgiveness so clipping an edge still grabs. Fixed: aiming down across a wide ledge could hook the platform you were standing on and yank you into it. Lava warning — heat now rises from below before a pool is on screen. You fall faster than the camera can show, so you get a fair heads-up. Painted characters throughout: the soul, the shades, demon orbs, hellbats — and Cerberus is now a proper three-headed hellhound. Reworked boss fight visuals, health bars, win screens and leaderboards. GRAVE SHIFT The graveyard is green. It's now a proper moonlit lawn with cold blue light and a warm lantern that travels with you. The HUD got out of the way. Panels are smaller, the score moved out of the lane zombies walk in from, the wave banner steps back during a fight, and the controls reminder retires once you've learned it. New threat compass — edge arrows point at every off-screen zombie, so a wave can't sneak up on you across a map far bigger than your screen. Fog rebalanced: a wide soft falloff instead of a small hard circle, so the far arena reads as gloom you can pick shapes out of. Painted top-down survivor and zombies, painted molten pools, redesigned shop. Fixed: waves could stall forever on a stuck straggler. The shop now closes with ESC as well as ENTER/SPACE. BOTH GAMES Steam leaderboards ar...
