About this game

Hotel Simulator: Prologue – Early Days is a free prologue to the full version of Hotel Simulator.

Begin your journey by taking over an old motel in Winston Springs!

Welcome guests, earn money, and use your profits to renovate and redesign your motel to match your own vision. Gradually take control of the business by creating unique interiors, keeping your guests happy, and growing your reputation.

Checking guests into the rooms available at the beginning of the game and checking them out after their stay are core parts of the gameplay.

Unfortunately, the motel in Winston Springs has seen better days, so your options will be somewhat limited at first.

You'll have access to a variety of tools that will help you remove old furniture and decorations before carrying out the necessary renovation work.

Design every room without limits and use the money you earn from guests to create unique interiors that reflect your own style and creativity.

Choose furniture, accessories, and decorations that will impress your guests and give your motel its own distinctive character.

Meeting your guests' expectations while keeping investment costs under control is part of everyday life in the hospitality business.

What's Next?

Learn the fundamentals of managing and expanding a motel in this free prologue. Then, in the full version of the game, take your business to the next level by expanding beyond the motel in Winston Springs and building a successful hotel chain across multiple locations.

Clean Room = Happy Guest! – Trash Bag

Hello! In our recent devlogs, we showed you how the broom and vacuum cleaner can help you deal with the mess left behind after renovations. But dust and rubble aren’t the only things you’ll have to clean up in Hotel Simulator. Guests can leave a bit of a mess behind too. 😄 So it’s time to grab another essential tool for every hotelier — the trash bag! 🗑️ {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46269426/f848cdbf92e6ada3380bd82c652544dc66197d00.gif After your guests check out, you may find various pieces of trash left behind in their rooms. Before checking in the next guest or an entire family, it’s worth giving the room a thorough inspection and making sure it’s sparkling clean again. ✨ The trash bag will allow you to quickly collect any waste left behind and prepare the room for your next guests. It can hold quite a lot, but not an unlimited amount — everything has its limits. 😉 Full trash bags will eventually need to be taken to the garbage chute, but when you decide to do that is entirely up to you. And don’t forget about the trash bins in the rooms! Guests will use them during their stay, so once they check out, it’s always worth checking whether the bins need to be emptied. A full trash bin definitely isn’t the best welcome for the next guest checking into your hotel. 😄 In Hotel Simulator, cleanliness will be one of the factors affecting your hotel’s rating. So take care of your rooms, empty the bins regularly, and don’t leave any trash behind from previous guests — and your cleanliness rating is sure to stay high! ⭐ In future devlogs, we’ll show you more mechanics related to the day-to-day management and development of your hotel. Time for an Even Faster Cleanup! – The Vacuum Cleaner

Hello! In our previous devlog, we showed you one of the simplest yet incredibly useful tools in Hotel Simulator — the broom. 🧹 https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/4818260/view/706655554637922846?l=english It works great for cleaning up after renovations, but what if you're short on time and want to get rid of the mess much faster? Time to bring out the vacuum cleaner! 😄 {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46098794/2f6a6e246fd4520ae22380e89362ef3640649f45.gif The vacuum cleaner will allow you to quickly suck up dust, rubble, and other debris left behind after renovations. Unlike the broom, however, it offers something more — adjustable power settings. The higher the power setting you choose, the larger the area around the vacuum cleaner that will be cleaned at once. This means you can deal with the mess throughout the entire room much faster. But there’s a catch. 🔋 More power means higher battery consumption. If you keep using the vacuum cleaner at its highest setting, the battery will drain faster and you'll need to recharge it more often. A lower power setting will help conserve battery life, but it will also reduce the cleaning area. Faster and wider, or more efficient and precise? The choice is yours. In Hotel Simulator, we want even simple activities to give you a choice in how you approach them. Using your tools effectively can significantly speed up the process of preparing rooms for your next guests. In future devlogs, we'll show you more tools and mechanics that will help you manage and grow your own hotel. Time to Clean Up! - The Broom

Hello! In our previous devlogs, we showed you the tools that will help you get rid of old furniture, decorations, and other unnecessary elements. But after every renovation comes a moment that simply cannot be avoided… https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/4599110/view/693140497866163504?l=english Time to clean up! 😄 {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46269426/24fa501d522abbc34452f61784706065172e1be9.gif That’s why today we’re introducing another incredibly important tool in Hotel Simulator — the broom. 🧹 There are no complicated mechanisms, interchangeable attachments, or special operating modes here. Just a simple, proven, and reliable tool. After a renovation, the room will be filled with plenty of dust, rubble, and other leftovers from the work. Before you can place new furniture and decorations and prepare the room for your next guests, you’ll need to get everything back in order. And this is where the broom comes in handy. Sweep away the dust, clear the rubble, and prepare the room for a fresh start. Because even the best interior design won’t make a good impression if there’s still a pile of renovation debris under the bed. 😉 The broom may not be the most impressive tool in your arsenal, but sometimes the simplest solutions are the ones you need the most. In Hotel Simulator, renovation isn’t just about demolishing and building. It’s an entire process — from removing old furnishings, through renovation and cleaning, all the way to creating a finished room that your guests will want to come back to. In our upcoming devlogs, we’ll show you more gameplay features and even more ways to develop your hotel.
