About this game

The Colors of Love - Re-Colored is a remaster, remake, and re-imagining of my original visual novel, The Colors of Love.

This version expands the story with new content, new scenes, updated presentation, and different events from the original release. If you played the first version, you may recognize the heart of the story, but not everything will unfold the way you remember.

At its core, this is still a romantic visual novel about two young adults finding each other at a moment when they need it most. Your character is going through a period of self-reflection, feeling disconnected from the people around him even when life seems to be moving forward.

Then he meets a girl who slowly begins to change the way he sees himself, his life, and the colors of the world around him.

Featuring an animated Live2D main love interest, multiple endings, choices that shape the path ahead, English and Spanish text, Steam achievements, and hidden secrets to discover, Re-Colored is a more complete version of the story I originally wanted to tell.

Patch v2.0.5 Release + Minor Announcement

Hi everyone! Thanks a lot for playing The Colors of Love - Re-Colored! This update addresses the following bug: - Fixed the issue not allowing players to skip dialogue after getting an ending, forcing a restart to get the skip functionality back. Sorry for taking long addressing the bug in question, I was giving it more time in case there was other bugs discovered to send everything in one single patch, but fortunately seems that's the biggest outstanding issue and has been addressed now. I've also read and considered the feedback given through reviews, do know future games will be developed with that in mind. Please be assured that I read any comments players send, either as reviews or on discussions or even contacting through the support email. Any and all feedback is welcome as it allows me to be better and deliver better content and games. As such, there's one thing I must address, I've seen that there's been some requests to translate the game to other languages. As much as I'd love to do that, I can't feasibly do it at the moment, for that you all have my sincerest apologies. Let me explain, the game exists in Spanish and English, as those are the 2 languages I can comfortably speak and write, I may know some phrases and minor things in other languages but I'm not fluent enough to translate the visual novel. You may be wondering, what about machine translation? While I can have a level of trust in machine translation, I still would like to have a way to ensure the translation quality is acceptable, which I cannot do as of now. Hiring a translator is an option but I'm not making any profits out of the game at the moment so it's hard for me to do the investment on it at the moment. In fact someone has reached out for that, but since I'm focusing on other projects I rather focus on that one first then worry about more languages if there's high demand for it. However, having said that, I'm totally fine with any fan translations and patches the community may release...
