About this game
Wealth of Nations
Take control of a nation and guide it through decades of economic, political, and social challenges. Build a prosperous economy, manage public finances, respond to crises, and shape your country's future in a deep grand-strategy simulation inspired by real-world economics.
Every decision matters. Adjust tax policy, shape government spending, allocate public budgets, and respond to emerging crises. Your choices influence economic growth, public finances, political stability, investor confidence, and your nation's standing in the world.
A Professional Economic Simulation
At the heart of Wealth of Nations lies a sophisticated macroeconomic simulation inspired by real-world economic relationships, academic research, and modern economic modeling.
Unlike traditional strategy games that rely on simple scripted modifiers, Wealth of Nations simulates how key economic indicators interact over time. Economic growth, inflation, unemployment, government debt, public finances, financial markets, and political stability influence one another through dynamic feedback mechanisms, creating an evolving and believable national experience.
Policies rarely produce immediate results. Decisions made today may create consequences months or even years later, forcing players to think beyond short-term gains and develop sustainable long-term strategies.
Interest rates and monetary conditions are influenced by an autonomous central bank that reacts to changing economic conditions. Governments must adapt their policies to the economic environment rather than directly controlling every aspect of the economy.
Every country follows its own path based on economic conditions, political decisions, unexpected events, and long-term development.
Manage Your Economy
Monitor and steer the key indicators that define your nation's future:
GDP Growth
Inflation
Unemployment
Government Debt
Fiscal Balance
Interest Rates
Sovereign Credit Rating
Bond Market Confidence
Political Stability
Balance short-term political pressures against long-term economic sustainability. A booming economy may fuel inflation, while excessive debt can undermine investor confidence and increase borrowing costs. Every choice creates opportunities, trade-offs, and risks.
Shape National Policy
Implement policies that directly affect your country's development:
Taxation
Government Spending
Budget Allocation
Debt Management
Fiscal Rules and Debt Brakes
Structural Reforms
There is no universal solution. A policy that succeeds under one set of economic conditions may fail under another. Adapting to changing circumstances is essential for long-term success.
Face Dynamic Events
No two playthroughs are identical.
Respond to economic shocks, political crises, social unrest, financial instability, demographic challenges, and international developments. Unexpected events can rapidly change the course of your nation and force you to rethink your strategy.
Will you stimulate the economy during a recession? Reduce debt during periods of growth? Invest in long-term prosperity or prioritize short-term political stability?
The future of your country depends on your decisions.
Plan for the Long Term
Build resilient institutions, maintain public trust, manage public finances responsibly, and create sustainable prosperity. Short-term popularity may come at the expense of long-term stability, while difficult reforms can deliver lasting benefits for future generations.
The choices you make today may shape your nation for decades to come.
A Living World
Global developments, economic trends, and international events continuously shape the environment in which your nation operates. As conditions evolve, new opportunities and challenges emerge, requiring flexible and forward-looking leadership.
No two nations, and no two campaigns, will ever develop in exactly the same way.
Designed for Strategy Enthusiasts
Wealth of Nations is designed for players who enjoy deep strategic decision-making and meaningful consequences.
Whether you are interested in economics, politics, public policy, finance, or grand strategy games, Wealth of Nations offers a rich simulation where understanding the system is just as important as mastering it.
Can you lead your nation to prosperity?
