About this game

Your drone orbits the vault core and fires on its own. You only steer  the circle which way it spins and how tight it cuts. Ride close and the outer ring shreds in seconds, but a missed read costs your hull. Ride wide and you'll outlast anything, but you'll be down there a long time. Every vault is a question of where the line is.

CRACK THE CORE, DROP DOWN

Strip the outer ring of debris and defenders, then break the core  underneath. The floor opens and you fall into the next vault. Each one is denser than the last new core types, harder break patterns,  new biomes with their own hazards. The deeper you go, the better the haul, and the meaner the floor.

EVERY RUN MAKES THE NEXT ONE LOUDER

Everything you tear loose comes back up with you. Spend it between  runs on upgrade cards fire rate, hull, orbit precision, magnet  pull, crit and a full skill tree that rewrites how runs play.  Nothing is wasted. Every run pushes the floor down a little further.

    100 Copies Sold. Thank You!

100 COPIESBitloop has sold 100 copies.I know 100 is not a huge number in the wider world of Steam, but seeing the counter reach 100 means a lot to me as a solo developer.Thank you to everyone who bought the game, added it to their wishlist, left a review, shared a screenshot, or sent feedback. Every bit of support has helped. ABOUT THE UPDATEI built this update around the feedback players gave me.Late game performance has been improved. Dense vaults with hundreds of nodes, projectiles, and enemy bullets should now run much more smoothly.Progression has also been rebalanced. Warp no longer skips huge sections of the game, and Deep Dive shortcuts are now earned after boss victories. Reaching Vault 200 should feel like a proper journey.Kernel upgrades no longer need to interrupt combat. Smart Auto-Pick is enabled by default and chooses an upgrade based on your current build. Manual selection is still available in Settings. The end of run screen has also been replaced with a cleaner Run Report. It shows your score, combo, earned Bits, play time, and next boss target. You can copy the result and share it anywhere you like.Old demo restrictions have also been removed. Bitloop now has one version on Steam: the full game. THANK YOUPlease keep sending feedback. I read the reviews and discussions, and they help me understand what needs attention next.If you have enjoyed Bitloop, leaving an honest Steam review helps the game more than you might think.Thank you for the first 100 copies.See you in the next vault.

Thanks to everyone who tried the demo and left feedback. This update is built directly from your comments.Fixed: dying right after taking an upgradeTime freezes while you pick a kernel, but enemy bullets already flying at you would all land the moment you closed the panel. Picking an upgrade now clears nearby bullets and gives you a short invulnerability window. No more unfair deaths.Full touch supportThe demo now plays properly on touchscreens:Tap to reverse directionDrag up and down to move your orbitOn-screen boost buttonVirtual joystick for flight sectionsPinch to zoomOther fixesTutorial hints now show touch controls on touch devicesBetter performance on lower-end devicesIf you find anything weird, drop it in the discussions.
