About this game

About This Game

Astralight: Pilgrim's Duel is a turn-based strategy card game where players build a 30-card deck, command a chosen hero, and fight tactical duels using characters, structures, equipment, spells, and traps.

Each match is built around careful resource management, board control, and timing. Players draw cards, gain mana over time, summon units, cast spells, set traps, and use hero skills to break through the opponent's defenses. Reduce the enemy hero's life to 0 to claim victory.

Choose Your First Element

When you begin Astralight, you choose one of three elemental starter packs: Fire, Water, or Forest. Your chosen pack becomes the foundation of your collection and gives you a starting strategy to build around from your first match.

Build and Refine Your Deck

A legal deck contains exactly 30 cards, with up to 4 copies of any single card. Every slot matters. Build around a clear win condition, balance your mana curve, combine synergies, and refine your list as you discover new strategies.

Five Card Types

  • Characters are your main fighters, able to attack enemies and defend the field.

  • Structures act as durable fortifications that help control the board.

  • Equipment strengthens your characters and can unlock new tactical options.

  • Spells create immediate effects such as damage, healing, removal, or card draw.

  • Traps are set face-down and trigger during the opponent's turn, punishing careless plays and reversing momentum.

Hero Skills

Before battle, each player selects a hero with a unique skill. Hero skills cost mana to activate and can shape your entire game plan, from aggressive damage bursts to defensive utility or battlefield-wide effects.

Play, Earn, Expand

Every match rewards progress. Win or lose, you can earn currency, cards, and crafting materials to expand your collection over time. Use your rewards to acquire new cards, complete playsets, and experiment with different deck ideas.

The Battlefield Comes Alive — 2.5D Sideview Combat Update

The arena will never look the same. This update rebuilds Astralight's battles from the ground up — the flat card board is gone, replaced by a living 2.5D battlefield where every unit stands, breathes, and fights.Living 2.5D BattlersCards you play no longer lie on the board — they step onto it. Every character now appears as an animated battler with idle, attack, and defense motions, dynamic shadows, and proper depth: units in front stand in front, no matter their size. Cinematic CombatBattles are now choreographed. Attackers charge in, the camera follows and zooms into the clash, ink splatters on impact, and damage numbers pop at the exact moment the blow lands. Counterattack motions follow the real combat rules — ranged, melee, and intimidated defenders each react the way they should.Your Hero Takes the FieldYour hero is no longer a portrait on the sidelines. Each hero now leads the army in person as a King unit on the board — with their own stats, abilities, and battler. Protect your King: if they fall, the battle is lost. And a new hero joins the roster: the Vampire Princess, a dark noble who fights with fury, lifesteal, and regeneration.New Battlers Join the FightA wave of new characters enters the arena, each with a full battle presence:- Vampire Princess (new hero & King unit)- Hell Minotaur- Dwarf Watchman & Dwarf Boar Rider- Scorpion- ...joining the wolf, soldiers, elves, and heroines already on the field AUTO BattleShort on time? Tap the new AUTO button and your army fights on its own — full auto-battle powered by the game AI, from mulligan to the final blow. Toggle it anytime, mid-battle included. Quality of Life & Fixes- Unified targeting: cards, skills, and attacks all use the same accurate target detection, with clear drop zones on the board- New in-battle HUD: compact stat plates at every battler's feet, full detail on hover- Smarter AI: no more pointless attacks from 0-attack units- Simultaneous KO now correctly ends the match in a draw- Countless FX, ...
