    School Books

School Books This Regular Update expands city building and trade tools, and resolves key interface and route issues. School and City Council Mayors approve and place one School per city through Architect; other merchants and AI can donate to it. A placed School completes after 25 game days and displays its construction date. City Council presents the School project with its live funding status and Donate controls. Ledger House and Trade The Architect > City tab includes a dedicated Ledger House card for Guild members with the privilege. Existing Ledger Houses retain ownership and construction date without duplicate construction; access messages explain requirements. Ledger House lists now display localized goods names next to their icons. Trade Route activation preserves its correct status, explains failures, and keeps configured-city counts current. Auto Trade keeps goods names in item cards and prevents duplicate city-reputation gains from large sales. City Interface and Reliability Town Hall, Guild Panel, Shipyard, House purchase, Warehouse and Convoy List improvements refine daily city management. Architect and Convoy List refresh work has been reduced to improve responsiveness.

    Indonesian

Patch Notes Localization Added Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) language support. Language search results now remain visible after scrolling the language list. Gameplay Day and Night alternate every two real-time minutes. Selecting either phase on the lower-left wheel starts a fresh two-minute period. Reaching -100,000 gold lowers the player’s rank once per debt episode. Reaching -200,000 gold causes bankruptcy and Game Over, followed by a return to Main Menu. Interface and fixes Ship Panel’s New Trade Route and Edit Route buttons, and Ledger House’s Administrator Trade mode button, now have framed gold-and-charcoal artwork with hover, pressed and disabled states. City minimaps show clearer building-type icons for houses, civic buildings, production facilities and construction sites. Guild Panel has larger portraits and merchant names in two columns, roomier information boxes and a full-width council support highlight. Church Panel buttons now respond visibly to hovering and pressing. Donation text and its coin icon are aligned, Feed The Poor refreshes when food stocks change, and the Turkish donation prompt has been corrected. The live interface now uses the same ship coin as the top-right HUD. Ledger House displays localized goods names beside icons in Goods and Administrator lists. Trade Route activation preserves its status when the panel is reopened and explains failed activation. Configured-city counts follow the current route. Auto Trade goods names remain inside their cards in every supported language. Town Hall’s Office tab is visible to everyone; players who are not the city’s mayor receive an access message. Tab highlights stay inside their frames, portraits use closer framing, and all 18 cities have correctly fitted emblems in the three shield slots. The extra line above Elections has been removed. Shipyard displays cargo capacity, speed, crew and hull strength in two clearly spaced columns with bold text and individual icons. Trade Route city names have br...

    Polish

Patch Notes Languages and Interface Added Polish interface support, including searchable language selection and Polish characters in interface and building labels. Enlarged the content of the Guild Panel Merchants, Statistics, Expeditions, and Measures pages, with more room for localized text. Improved long-label fit in Polish and preserved immediate updates when changing languages. Unified Shipyard pages with brighter wood, blue cloth and brass details, and cleaned up the Order List scrollbar. Cities and Fixes Matched all city forests to Stockholm tree artwork and removed obsolete baked pine geometry from Oslo. Fixed needing a second click to open the Shipyard or another city building while ShipPanel was open. Removed misplaced cargo cubes around some Oslo pedestrians' heads. Fixed ship travel and port waiting times drifting unevenly when frame rate protection is active. Fixed Convoy List city searches retaining ships that no longer match the filter. Updated the Brigs of Britain MainMenu announcement and fixed its Steam store link for players who do not own the DLC. Fixed regional AI ship orders and preserved AI regional ships when loading saves without the corresponding DLC ownership. Performance Reduced repeated localization, Minimap and filtered fleet processing when their inputs remain unchanged. Combined Riga roof rendering components while preserving their geometry and appearance. Reduced save file size and repeated content-key string creation while preserving compatibility with existing saves.

    German

Patch Notes Languages Added German interface support. Choose Deutsch from the searchable language selector in Options. On first launch, the game uses the Steam game language when supported. Saved in-game language preferences take priority; unsupported or unavailable Steam languages use English. Fixed text retaining the previous language when switching between English and Turkish, including panels that persist across scene changes. Cancelling a language preview restores the applied language, and editable names remain intact. Completed missing panel translations, localized Shipyard navigation and actions, and improved long-label fitting across all three supported languages. Gameplay Fixes Saved games now preserve manual sea destinations, ship map positions and ship trading profit. Older saves recover ships stranded by a missing sea destination and reset incompatible profit comparisons. Workplace staffing targets now survive daily hiring and save/load. New ship deliveries and completed staffing requirements immediately update Rank eligibility. AI carriers prioritize the goods required by their Town Hall Mission and keep the return leg free for the next mission delivery. Switching between cities and the world map no longer postpones autosaves indefinitely. Autosaves wait for loading to finish. Auto Repair now charges the same price as Shipyard Repair and skips repairs when Gold is insufficient. Ledger House Balance now shows recorded cash movements for the last 10 and 30 days. Daily wages, land tax, Administrator, storage and Guard costs are charged once per day, and rental income is credited. Workplace wages consistently use 8 Gold per worker per day. Manual and automatic trade cash movements appear in the city's ledger. Existing saves start recording this history after the update. Performance Reduced daily port-income processing costs for large fleets. Improved save processing for long Church histories and fleets containing unavailable content. Reduced city minimap CP...

    Minimap

Patch Notes Minimap Added a minimap beneath the time controls in WorldScene and CityScene. Select your travelling ships directly from the world minimap, or click open map space to move the camera. City buildings and construction sites now show ownership colors: grey for civic and municipal properties, blue for the player, and distinct colors for AI merchants. Properties belonging to the same merchant share one color. The city minimap follows new building expansion. Map artwork fills its frame, and the white camera outline stays closed and visible while panning, zooming and rotating near map edges. Interface Readability Auto UI Scale now keeps panels and the HUD larger on low-resolution screens. Manual scale choices remain unchanged, and panels stay within the shared viewport bounds. Improved text sizes, contrast and spacing in Guild Panel footer information, Options labels, Credits and Ledger House tabs. Long English and Turkish labels fit their authored areas. Cities and Navigation All eighteen cities now use Oslo's approved stone paving on main streets, Gate approaches and building connections, including connections created for new buildings. Terrain paving uses the matching surface. Existing Houses and civic buildings now also have stone ground beneath them. Ground coverage gradually blends into grass, and Ledger House ground disappears when its building is removed. Saving, rebuilding and demolition preserve the underlying terrain. World-map ships now follow the latest saved route spline. Mission and Text Fixes Town Hall Missions can now be accepted only in your hometown or a city where you have a completed Ledger House. Availability indicators follow the same rule, and AI merchants accept missions only in their own hometowns. Guild Missions remain independent. Ship Panel and Shipyard notices now consistently name Plague of the Seas and display complete English or Turkish descriptions. The Upgrade notice follows the selected interface language.
