About this game

A baseball management sim modeled on Japan's pro baseball (NPB) — no action, pure front office.

Run the draft, free agency, trades, contract talks, scouting and stadium finances, then simulate a season instantly or watch it unfold pitch by pitch, stepping in to call the shots at any at-bat.

Set league count, team count and season length however you like — from a 12-team Japanese-style league up to 30 clubs across 6 leagues. Edit every player, team and ballpark with the bundled CSV editor, and build a league that's entirely your own.

Every Game, Pitch by Pitch

Detailed per-player ratings and a custom engine resolve each game one pitch at a time. Watch it play out on full auto, or step in and call the shots at any at-bat.

The Whole Front Office

Draft, free agency, trades, contract talks, scouting. Multi-stage salary negotiations, multi-year deals with buyouts, retirement talks — every front-office decision is here.

Scouting Is Uncertain

The same prospect, seen through different scouting. (Top = poorly scouted / Bottom = thoroughly scouted)

Ratings are shown with observation error — you never know a player's true ability until they take the field. The more you invest in scouting, the more the fog lifts.

Running the Club's Finances

Ticket pricing, sponsorships and stadium renovations keep the money moving. How do you build a winner on a limited budget?

A League of Your Own

From a 12-team Japanese-style league up to 30 clubs across 6 leagues — configure it however you like. Players, teams and ballparks are editable via the bundled CSV editor, and sound effects and stadium images can be swapped too (MOD support).

A World That Keeps Growing

Aging, generational change, retirements — and all-time records piling up. Season after season, a whole world takes shape.

Four Languages

Japanese, English, Korean and Traditional Chinese.

From the developer

Built by a solo developer. The features I set out to make are all in — this launches as a complete game. I'll keep updating it after release, at a steady solo pace, based on your feedback.

Ver 1.80 Broadcast Feed, Pickoffs, Foul Flies, FA Ranks

Version 1.80 is out. The centerpiece is the broadcast feed on the match screen: an announcer and an analyst carry the game in conversation, and this is now the standard view. Pickoffs, rundowns and balks and catcher foul flies join the plays on the field, and the FA market shows each player's FA rank before you sign him. Follow the game as a broadcast {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/a0cb5c617ef67c4a067a507a19a373b343b025ee.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/a73733f60bd708fbb995615b08ef4079feebb825.png The match screen's feed now has a Broadcast style. The announcer calls each pitch and the result of the at-bat, and the analyst adds a remark when the situation calls for one. Runners in scoring position, how today's starter is doing, the head-to-head record between batter and pitcher: what you are looking at right now finds its way into the conversation Starting with this version, Broadcast is the standard view. The familiar Play log is still there: switch the default in Settings under "Match feed style". During a match, the chip in the feed header switches the view for that game only There are several analysts and the assignment changes from game to game. Each has his own tone and angle, so the same situation can sound different Pickoffs, rundowns and balks {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/380fff201517929a051f4196a47c60949cfd352f.png With a runner on base, the pitcher may throw over before the pitch. The runner may get back safely, or get caught off the bag and end up in a rundown. How quick the pitcher is to the bag and the runner's speed and judgment decide the outcome Balks happen too. Every runner moves up one base, and a runner on third scores All of these show up on the base display, in the play log and in the broadcast, and the outs and runs are recorded in the stats. Their frequency is tuned to real professional baseball Foul flies to the catcher A foul pop near home plate can now be caught by the catcher for an out. The better the catcher's fielding, the more often he g...

Ver 1.74 Two-Way to Fielder, Recovery, Auto Roster Modes

Version 1.74 is out. This update answers a batch of requests about how players are used. The core is converting two-way players to position players, showing Recovery on the player screen, and three Auto Roster modes. We also rebuilt the bundled AbilityEstimator tool, which helps you recreate real players and more, to match the current CSV layout. Make a two-way player a position player only {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/851d3c8999a950d2cd7494daeea4da1afc0fecef.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/8733a259e66ebff169e50dab78b055c551e80f9a.png Two-way players on your club now have a "Make position player only" button on the player screen. It removes the pitcher registration and sets the position with the highest fielding rating as the primary position The player leaves the rotation, setup, closer and bullpen slots, but stays in the batting order. Pitching stats so far remain in the career record (switch between batting and pitching on the Career tab) The change cannot be undone. A confirmation dialog shows the new position before you commit Recovery shown on the player screen The player screen now shows Recovery on the left, under Salary. It is the value used for condition recovery after games, and it was not visible anywhere before It uses the same color tiers as the other ratings. The actual amount recovered still depends on pitcher/hitter role and workload such as pitching on consecutive days Auto Roster gains "No moves" and "All squads" {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/6806af18920a8e283abcd6e854d6402620b09127.png A dropdown to the left of the Auto Roster button on the Roster screen lets you pick With moves / No moves / All squads No moves keeps the current major-league members and only rebuilds the lineup, rotation and bullpen roles. No call-ups from the farm All squads auto-builds and confirms the major-league roster, then drafts a farm roster proposal. Apply the farm side with Confirm. If some players in the major-league proposal could not be applied, it stays on the majors ...

Ver 1.73 Overseas Moves, New Contract Desk and Help Guides

Version 1.73 is out. The centerpiece is overseas moves. Strong players cross the ocean, put up numbers over there, and eventually come home. That whole arc is now part of running your club. We've also rebuilt the Contract Desk (contract renewal, FA, free agents, trades) and the Reinforce screens (domestic and international scouting), and added a full set of in-game Help and first-time guides so newcomers don't get lost. Players who take on overseas leagues {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/34b6cb19d85585f159de496cc0fb57bc01cb06b6.png Players with a track record in Japan now declare for an overseas move. If it's one of yours, you get a notice. You can't hold them back. The destination is chosen from several overseas leagues to match the player's level Posting is in too. When a player under contract asks to be posted, you decide as the club whether to allow it. Allow it and you receive a transfer fee; refuse and the player's loyalty drops You can follow a player's stats abroad. Milestone news (wins, home runs) shows up, and the off-season review gets an "Overseas Moves" section Released players may head overseas, and draft prospects may go abroad before turning pro. Foreign players may move to their home league or a third country, and come back to Japan later Players abroad are included among Japan's candidates for international tournaments. The Player Directory gets a section for them The scramble for returning players A player whose overseas stint is over comes back to the free-agent market. Any club can sign them, not just the one they left Other clubs go after promising returnees too. Players who fit a club's needs or have high ratings get offers early We adjusted how the free-agent market clears. Players who go unsigned for a long time retire depending on their age Overseas seasons in the player's year-by-year stats {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/25153cd9b1efa184785d218b036ecee2fcb844cc.png Year-by-year stats now list overseas seasons in sequence with domestic ones, with ...

Ver 1.71 Draft Overhaul — Scout All Year, Interview, Lottery

Version 1.71 is out. The star of this update is the draft. What used to be a single day is now a whole year of tracking prospects, sizing them up, and winning them over. We've also added a face creator so you can build a player's portrait yourself. Prospects show up a year early {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/b0d9ad5d158b56800176263a3a4b7b361a779ae3.png Prospects no longer appear out of nowhere on draft day. Their names and backgrounds are visible a year in advance. Each one comes from high school, college, or the corporate/independent ranks, and you can follow them across seasons Flag anyone who interests you to your watch list and compare them on a dedicated tab Prospects carry a reputation. Highly rated players draw more competing bids; unknowns can be bargains The more you scout, the sharper the read {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/3e21e6ef97c2df247ca4aa3b9a2d11533e380c4b.png A prospect's ratings are shown as your scouts' read on them. The less you've seen a player, the wider the margin on that read Tournament scouting covers a whole class in one trip; a private workout takes a long look at one player. The more you scout, the smaller the margin of error on the ratings you see Send your scouts out and you may turn up a player nobody else knows about Win them over in interviews — or get turned down {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/dae4fbeed834be03322cf18cf8d70141a7a91df9.png Prospects have preferences. Some have clubs they want to join, clubs they would rather avoid, and some intend to go the corporate route instead Interviews let you make your club's case. Six per month, up to three with any one player. Who you spend them on is your call A player you draft can refuse to sign. Those who turn you down may resurface as prospects later, by a different route {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/f0772b95dc6f0a060eea7e26affad41c9d0bb4f3.png Draft night — bids, contested picks, lotteries {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/d37c23f29c89e4c7b00ac4889d5d6cc20b62e039.png Round one is a sealed bid. Ver 1.70: Player Portraits, Post-Game News Show & More

Version 1.70 is out — a major update bundling everything we have been working on since the last release. The headline feature is auto-generated player portraits: players who used to be silhouettes now get a face, wearing their team's cap and uniform. A new Uniform Editor in the management screen lets you decide how they look. The update also brings a post-game news show, a reworked Quick Scout, autosave, expanded records including batter-vs-pitcher career matchups, a pitching balance pass covering ERA and starter consistency, stronger data protection for Workshop mods, and a batch of reported bug fixes. Portraits for every player — meet your team face to face {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/622d5d50c5de559bae9c1aa4199031a07713ed89.png Faces, hairstyles and builds are assembled from parts, and every player is drawn wearing their team's cap and uniform. Get traded, and the outfit changes too Portraits appear wherever players do: the player directory, player details, roster screens and more Female players get faces as well As before, images you set yourself always take priority, and images bundled with mods are used as-is Not a fan of the generated look? Turn off "Generate player portraits" in Settings. Turning it off never removes images: your own and mod images remain, and everyone else returns to the default picture Team uniform editor — the look belongs to the club {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/1d356ae23fa69c7d3ce3ddd5a0c2467f8bf17873.png The management screen gains a Uniform Editor: cap color, uniform style and tint, line color and the cap emblem, all with a live preview Changes apply immediately to every generated portrait on your team, and you can change them any time, even mid-season Photos you set yourself are never affected The CSV editor can edit uniform settings for every team — handy for mod makers too Post-game news show — relive the game on air {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46163778/f470154fa6f5756774b46dc6b26e5752a65dfe7c.png After your team's games, an anchor recaps th...
