About this game
SCRAP IS SACRED.
The world ended long ago.
The great cities collapsed beneath endless scrapstorms, reality fractures, and anomalies beyond human understanding. What remains are scattered settlements, wandering scavengers, and the Saints — powerful survivors capable of bending technology, faith, and chaos itself into weapons.
Welcome to Junkyard Saints: Scrapstorm.
A fast-paced Bullet Heaven Action Roguelite where every run is a chance to become an unstoppable force of destruction.
Scavenge the wasteland for powerful gear, experimental technology, unstable relics, and forgotten weapons. Discover procedurally generated loot featuring unique prefixes, suffixes, affixes, and legendary modifiers capable of transforming an entire build. Every run offers new opportunities to experiment, adapt, and discover devastating synergies between weapons, armor, accessories, modules, companions, and Saint abilities.
As abilities reach their full potential, they awaken into Mythic Evolutions that fundamentally change the battlefield. Holy relics unleash cleansing infernos, anomaly storms consume entire enemy waves, and devastating weapon systems transform into instruments of mass destruction. The deeper a run progresses, the more chaotic and spectacular combat becomes.
Beyond the Saints, wandering survivors can be recruited through mysterious radio signals scattered across the wasteland. Their abilities can be mastered directly or brought into battle as AI-controlled companions. Companions gain experience, unlock new behaviors, awaken their powers, and provide powerful support through healing, crowd control, execution abilities, utility effects, and unique build interactions.
Beyond the settlements lies a shattered world waiting to be explored. Travel through handcrafted chapters filled with unique enemies, environmental hazards, dungeon challenges, elite encounters, unique music tracks, and powerful bosses. Every region introduces new threats and mechanics, forcing players to constantly adapt as reality itself becomes increasingly unstable.
Survival is never guaranteed.
Hazard zones, corruption effects, anomaly storms, environmental dangers, and escalating enemy pressure create a constantly evolving battlefield where positioning, movement, and build choices matter as much as raw power. No matter how strong a Saint becomes, the wasteland always finds new ways to fight back.
For those seeking the ultimate challenge, Endless Mode pushes builds beyond their intended limits. Compete through seasonal leaderboards, chase high scores, optimize your loadouts, and discover how far your Saint can survive when the storm never ends.
Junkyard Saints: Scrapstorm also features Twitch Integration, allowing viewers to become part of the wasteland itself. Audiences can vote on events, trigger challenges, influence encounters, spawn special enemies, and directly impact the outcome of a run. Whether they help the streamer survive or sabotage them for their own amusement is entirely up to them.
Built as a long-term live-service experience, Junkyard Saints: Scrapstorm will continue to expand with new Saints, companions, chapters, dungeons, gear, evolutions, cosmetics, seasonal content, and gameplay systems. Progression is designed around player freedom, allowing premium currency to be earned through gameplay so that every scavenger has the opportunity to earn their place in the wasteland.
The storm is coming.
Prepare your Saint.

The Road to 1.0 – Early Access Roadmap
Early Access was never meant to be the finish line for Junkyard Saints: Scrapstorm. It is the point where the next part of development begins. Now that the game is out in the wild and I can see how people actually play it, where builds break, which systems work and which parts still need more attention, I can start looking further ahead.Today, I want to give you a first look at the current Road to 1.0.The roadmap above represents the direction I am currently planning for the game throughout Early Access. Some updates are already taking shape, while others are intentionally left open for now.And one thing is important from the beginning:Features, scope and release windows may change during Early Access.Scrapstorm is still a one-person project. I would rather move something than release it unfinished simply because a date was written on a roadmap months earlier.October 31, 2026 – Graveyard ShiftThe first larger post-launch update will arrive with Graveyard Shift. This update will introduce the first major seasonal expansion of the existing game.Planned features include:A new Seasonal MapNew Seasonal ChallengesNew Seasonal CosmeticsGraveyard Shift is also an important test for how I want seasonal content to work going forward. The goal is not to constantly replace the game underneath you. Seasons should instead give you new reasons to return, new environments to master and additional challenges without making everything you earned before feel obsolete.Q4 2026 – Rise of the MachinesAfter that, the campaign continues.Rise of the Machines is currently planned as one of the largest content expansions following the Early Access launch.Currently planned:Chapters 6–10The introduction of Machine LanguageNew PrefixesNew SuffixesNew AffixesThe next campaign chapters will push the story beyond the current Early Access content while also expanding the systems surrounding equipment and enemies.Prefixes, suffixes and affixes are especially important here. The further Scrapstorm progresse...Read full article on Community Announcements (Frapstery)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch Notes 0.1.2
Patch NotesFor the first time, I was able to take a closer look at how Junkyard Saints: Scrapstorm is actually being played — and two things became very obvious:The campaign was being completed too quickly, and somehow the final two chapters ended up being easier than Chapter 3.Neither of those things fits the progression curve I want for the game, so I have adjusted the leveling, difficulty, and overall progression accordingly.Another issue came up very clearly in your feedback: players are offered plenty of abilities during a run, but too often those abilities do not match the build they are actually trying to create. That is changing with this update as well. Before getting into the actual patch notes, I want to highlight something important:Junkyard Saints: Scrapstorm is a one-person project.I am developing the game on my own — from gameplay systems and balancing to UI, large parts of the audio work, VFX, and the technical implementation.Over the years, I have created and released many smaller games, prototypes, and experiments for free.Scrapstorm is my first commercial project.Because of that, Early Access is also a learning process for me. For the first time, I am receiving this amount of real gameplay data, direct player feedback, and the opportunity to see how systems behave outside of my own testing environment. And that is exactly what updates like this are for.Progression and LevelsThe level curve now matches the intended chapter progression more closely. Players were entering Chapters 4 and 5 significantly above the recommended level — in some cases by as much as nine levels. This removed a large part of the intended challenge. The XP curve has been adjusted so that each chapter should now be reached at roughly the level it was originally designed for.Endless now rewards Account XP. Endless was always intended to be the long-term route toward Account Level 100, but until now it did not reward Account XP at all. This has been corrected. Level 100 should remain...Read full article on Community Announcements (Frapstery)Patch NotesOfficial
