About this game
CREATE YOUR OWN TOY WORLD
Toy Worlds Atlas is a sandbox game where you play with colours to solve riddles and discover secrets. Each level explores a philosophical topic and subverts expectations with new colouring mechanics. Made to inspire thought, this game offers a relaxing cognitive reset.
TOY PHILOSOPHY
This philosophical colouring book is a playground that fosters thought, imagination and creativity through playful interactions. It refers to the fact that living beings perceive reality differently: minds toy with subjective pictures of the shared world. Toy Worlds Atlas imagines subjective worlds materialized, and invites you to decide how they would look like.
DELIGHT YOUR CURIOSITY
Discover philosophical ideas transformed into colourful playthings, inspired by thinkers ranging from Heidegger and Deleuze to Dennett and Chalmers. Enhance your erudition and reflect on some of the deepest questions through short, playful, and intellectually satisfying puzzles.
SCHOLASTIC DAYDREAMING
A strong surreal art style inspired by the nostalgic visual language of 1990s illustrated encyclopedias and educational atlases.
PHENOMENOLOGICAL ORANGERY
A desktop companion mode: a garden where coloured creatures gather and interact in curious, unexpected ways. Leave the game running while you complete office tasks. Play with friends in local coop, compare your creations, and make them interact!
MAIN FEATURES

Toy Worlds Atlas Demo Released!
I’m happy to announce the DEMO release for Toy Worlds Atlas!Philosophy is fun! Built around an underrepresented field of learning, Toy Worlds Atlas is an experiment in making philosophical ideas meaningful to a broader audience. My design goal is to offer intelligent and fulfilling play sessions that subvert expectations and inspire thought. There are 8 colouring pages in the demo. For the full release, I’m planning to include 3 to 4 times as many. I’ll continue adding new features, and possibly more puzzles, to the demo, so follow the updates!Read full article on Community Announcements (Loikarin)
