About this game
Punk Vampires is a prequel to the novel of the same name by Jacob Cabrera.
The game puts you in the role of Chloe Wade, a young woman from New York who is bitten in 1899 by a master vampire. In this universe, when a victim is bitten, their soul leaves the body, and a creature from the Shadow Realm takes over the empty vessel.
But something unusual happens to Chloe... When the creature awakens inside her body, it carries memories, emotions, and fragments of the young woman she once was. Chloe’s soul has not crossed the threshold: for some inexplicable reason, it remains bound to the mind of the beast, coexisting with it.
At first, the creature rejects this human presence. It feels tormented by it and refuses to listen to that irritating voice inside its mind, a voice that denies it the pleasures of vampiric existence. But little by little, Chloe’s memories begin to influence its instincts, forcing the beast to confront human morality.
Can a human soul change a monster?
Punk Vampires is not just a story about punk aesthetics. The title comes from Chloe’s main conflict, tied to the noise, chaos, and rebellion of the punk movement: the perfect cover for vampires to hide their plans in the shadows.
Explore different eras, fight supernatural enemies, make decisions, overcome skill-based minigames, and discover the origin of a vampire divided between the humanity she lost and the creature that awakened in her place.
Play as exclusive characters such as Aiden Brennan in 10th-century Ireland, Missy, the hunter from London, and other protagonists within this dark, violent, and emotional story.

Today we want to share some very special news: the demo of Punk Vampires, the first original game from Nectar Estudios, is planned to arrive on Steam in August 2026.We also want to use this announcement to introduce the project a little better and share the philosophy behind it.Punk Vampires is being developed by one person. Nectar Estudios is a very small independent studio, with limited resources and no large team behind it.
