About this game
Roadmap
One Board. Multiple Battles.
Play MiliChess your way with several rule sets, including MiliChess Standard, MiliChess + Resources, and classic Chess. Start with familiar strategy, then expand into hidden-unit tactics, battlefield control, and resource-driven planning.
About the Game
MiliChess is a tactical board game where toy-like commanders lead tiny armies across a strange battlefield of soldiers, tanks, aircraft, radar, fog, and improvised war-table chaos.
Choose your commander, read the board, and outmaneuver your opponent through positioning, terrain, unit abilities, and timing. Every piece has a purpose: soldiers hold ground, tanks pressure lanes, engineers build bridges, tunnels, and airfields, radar reveals hidden threats, SAM sites punish careless flights, and jets can strike across the board if they have the range to make it home.
Play classic MiliChess, a Required Ammo variant with supply pressure, or traditional Chess using the MiliChess battlefield style. Matches can be played against AI, locally, online through multiplayer setup, or watched as AI commanders test their plans against each other.
MiliChess is built around readable tactical choices, dramatic board presence, and the feeling of a tabletop battle coming alive.

MiliChess 0.0.1va29 — Multiplayer Stability Update
Commanders, This update is a major multiplayer stabilization pass focused on making sure both players see and play the same match. - Improved synchronization for turns, movement, combat, Engineers, Radar, scouting, supply, and air missions. - Fixed reconnect and loading problems, including matches becoming stuck at 82% after a player rejoined. - Improved battlefield consistency so terrain, scenery, vehicle-cleared paths, unit losses, and deployment states remain synchronized. - Strengthened fog of war so each commander receives only the enemy information they are allowed to see. - Improved turn feedback, duplicate-input protection, connection-status feedback, and disconnect handling. - Fixed menu and gameplay HUD initialization issues that could leave controls missing or attached to the wrong interface layer. - Improved recovery of the correct camera position, player seat, battlefield state, and controls after reconnecting. MiliChess multiplayer remains in active testing. Please report desynchronization, reconnect failures, incorrect fog-of-war behavior, or other unexpected battlefield differences through the Prairieville Games Discord. Thank you for helping us test MiliChess.Read full article on Community Announcements (PrairievilleGames)Patch NotesOfficial
