Friction is a new take on tag. Use your skills to dodge and juke other players in an obstacle filled map. Whoever earns the most amount of points in 2 minutes wins the round.

About this game
Friction is a fast-paced arcade style game of tag.
In the game, the goal is to have the most amount of points before the round ends. Each round lasts 2 minutes. Players who pick up the star - that randomly spawn around the map, becomes the tagger. The tagger's goal is to chase down other players in order to gain points. Players who are tagged lose a small portion of their points. Green orbs will spawn throughout the map that only non-taggers can pick up to keep the advantage over the tagger.
Features
Online Multiplayer PVP
Compete against friends or other players online in lobbies of up to 16 players for maximum tag intensity. Fast paced rounds provide exhilarating moments of dodging and weaving.
Creative Take on Tag
Innovative features such as the star and green orbs add a twist onto tag's classic game loop that makes it more competitive and interesting to play.
Competition
Earn points to compete for the #1 spot in the lobby before the timer ends! Skillful players are rewarded with points for doing things such as avoiding being tagged and getting the star multiple times in a row. Climb the global leaderboard and cement yourself as a true friction master.
Customization
There are loads of ways to set yourself apart from other players in Friction. Unlock new characters and crowns over time by playing the game to show off your experience.
Skill based movement
Train your skills over time to become a pro at dodging and weaving between players. Hone your dash and jump timing to become untouchable as you zip around corners. Gain the advantage by mastering the easy to learn, but hard to master movement controls.

Hello, I am trying out a new gameplay mechanic, so please let me know what you think of it. ːsteamhappyːNew FeaturesPurple orb added - The purple orb spawns twice, once when the timer is at 1 minute and again in the last 15 seconds. The orb will reward any player that can stay near it for 3 seconds with 11 points. Both taggers and non-taggers can claim the orb. However if more than one player comes near it they will all be sent away. The orbs position will be revealed 3 seconds before it spawns.
