Ver 1.0.1d Micropatch - "Shifty" midrun boss ability fix
Shifty midrun boss was letting both sides of the crate hurt it. It is now fixed.Read full article on Community Announcements (uncertainkey)Patch NotesOfficial
Ver 1.0.1c - Sticky Crate, New Pickaxe Rune, Meta Tower Loading
Ver 1.0.1c Patch notes: When it takes damage, Sticky Crate now "unsticks" stuff stuck at the top(Also, can now sell gacha properly instead of auto-sell, minor bug)Pickaxe Rune now added! If the inscribed gem hits the bottom of the crate, the gem is removed and gold nuggets equal to the tier drop from above. It also causes the gem to spin for a little while.Mirror Rune altered:Old: "Causes relevant drop triggers to trigger twice". (e.g. "Drop Sapphire" would have triggered twice when dropping a mirror-runed sapphire)New: "Coffer Refill: Drop gem of same tier above the mirror runed gem."Meta Tower (Corpse Pile at the end of a run) now loads iteratively, so it feels hopefully a little more responsive. I apologize that as it gets full, it may take quite some time to load depending on the machine.\ There was a minor visual bug where the "mid-battle" tutorial tips would cause the portrait to reset to Flower Girl. This is now fixed.Rune Combo Handle was effectively something like 37.5% instead of 50%. Now fixed.Read full article on Community Announcements (uncertainkey)Patch NotesOfficial
Ver 1.0.1b Patch - "Glass Beaker" now unlockable
Ver 1.0.1b Notes: If you beat Stone Crate, it now unlocks Glass Beaker. If you ever beat Stone Crate in the past, as soon as you start a new run, it will unlock Glass Beaker. (You can use escape -> Retire run to go to the Glass Beaker right away).\ After unlocking a base-level shovel, in the view book, the upgrade incorrectly said it was not yet unlocked. But it is instead, "not yet encountered".\ After running out of health on Lunch Box Crate, the elements in the crate stayed in place rather than falling. Now fixed.Read full article on Community Announcements (uncertainkey)AnnouncementsOfficial
First New Shovel + Pickaxe Revision + Special Crate Fixes
Ver 1.0.1a (Despite the numbering, this is the 7th patch in the 7 days since release. Please see patch notes for Ver 1.0.0 a, b, c, d, e, f and g if curious.) \ It is a common shovel locked behind the requirement of: "Defeat a Goliath by popping exactly 1 rock."Like all shovels, it also has an upgrade and a handle.I am avoiding details for those who wish to be surprised. This shovel was directly proposed by player "The Cat's Eye Nebula" in our discord server! Thank you!(The handle is of my own ideation.)Of course, any blame rests entirely on me. \I was not very fond of pickaxe recently. Old pickaxe removed coins and gems and dropped rocks = tier, and almost never disappeared. The new pickaxe item now:Ignores coins (doesn't interact with them).Only removes 1 gem, and drops gold nuggets equal to the tier of that gem. So if it hits a coal, it will remove it and drop 9 gold nuggets. After removing 1 gem, the pickaxe disappears.Has a pretty crazy upgrade. (May need revision...) \Lunch Box had a disabled CollisionShape, so it was not performing the main function of Lunch Box. It is now fixed, my apologies.Stone Crate (and any crate) now drops fewer stones "outside" of the crate. Thanks to HolyBadman from Steam Discussion Boards for highlighting this issue!\ Some high priority issues:Multiple players have mentioned issues regarding Sticky Crate -- not bugs (strictly speaking), but proposals to improve it. In particular, the idea that when health drops, stuff stuck to the sides should become unstuck.Forge Ladder Crate visuals could be improved slightly, specifically for the part of the crate "above" the green line. (It incorrectly looks invisible.)(Locked at start) "Target" Shovel + Handle -- I'm not fond of the handle, it will be changed. I'm slightly less sure about the shovel, but will reflect on.Mirror Rune -- I'm not fond of the current iteration. The old iteration was too powerful, but I have an idea of what to do next with it.Volcano Rune -- For now it's actually locked...Read full article on Community Announcements (uncertainkey)Patch NotesOfficial
Crash Fix (End of Run Meta Tower / Corpse Pile)
I received an interesting bug report that sometimes the end of rewards screen (giant corpse pile) crashes on launch, but the very next time, it was fine. After reorganizing load times, I'd been doing some debugging to see if there were any specific enemies causing the crash, but there were none. This reminded me of some of the "crate shakes" crashes in the demo build (now resolved, as far as I can tell). I realized that the end of tower screen was loading the enemies outside of the physics process. This is now fixed, and should increase stability of the end-of-run rewards. My apologies for any remaining errors. Thank you, uncertainkey PS: I am still ready every single piece of feedback, please do send me any issues! I'll try to post a master reply in the discussion forum very soon.Read full article on Community Announcements (uncertainkey)
