Master the machine. In RE_ALLOC, you are the architect of execution. Design intricate hardware circuits, write custom assembly code, and optimize data flow across memory nodes. Efficiency is your only metric. Can you reach the kernel, or will your logic fail?

About this game

Welcome to the Kernel.

In RE_ALLOC, you don’t just write code; you design the architecture of execution. This is a technical simulation where assembly logic meets hardware constraints. You are tasked with constructing intrusion pipelines using a grid of CPUs, Stack RAM, and Indexed Memory nodes.

Your goal is not just to make the code run, but to make it perfect. Every cycle counts. Every instruction must be optimized. Every data flow must be calculated.

Key Features:

  • Assembly Engineering: Write raw, low-level assembly code. Master your registers, handle memory pointers, and navigate conditional jumps to solve complex logic puzzles.

  • Grid-Based Architecture: Design your own hardware topology. Map your mission data across a grid, connect ports, and define how your nodes communicate.

  • Optimization Challenges: Don't just solve it—solve it efficiently. Your performance is measured by cycle counts, node usage, and instruction density.

  • Strict Logic: There is no room for error. A memory overflow, a deadlock, or an infinite loop will crash the system. Debug your logic and test your pipeline.

  • Minimalist Aesthetic: A clean, terminal-focused interface designed for absolute focus. No hand-holding, no distractions—only you and the machine.

The Constraints: The hardware is limited. The input is fixed. The execution path is yours to define. Do you have the discipline to optimize the memory, or will your process stall under the load?

Boot the terminal. The assembly starts now.

    Architectural Stability and Editor Enhancements

Today, in the world of RE_ALLOC, we are rolling out an extensive update that will directly impact your development process and analytical capabilities. Below are the changes implemented to optimize your workflow and refine the system architecture:Code Editor and WorkflowUndo/Redo Support: Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Y) functionality is now active for all your coding attempts. Complete freedom while shaping your architecture.Step Through Improvements: The step-by-step progression system for code has been enhanced to allow for more precise debugging.Instruction Set UpdatesBRK (Break): The new instruction (BRK) has been integrated into the system. HLT & NOP: Issues with the operation of HLT and NOP instructions have been resolved, ensuring a more stable execution process.Diagnostics and UI OptimizationDiagnostic Panel & Node Heatmap: The Node Heatmap now clearly visualizes Halt and Breakpoint states in real-time. Identifying exactly where your code stalls or reaches a breakpoint is now more transparent than ever. UI Synchronization: Minor inconsistencies between the execution engine (VM) and the interface have been resolved; data is now reported consistently and in real-time.Balancing and DocumentationScoring and Objectives: Mission target values and the overall scoring system have been restructured for a more balanced and competitive experience. System Documentation: Our documentation has been updated to reflect the latest instruction sets and architectural structure.Your feedback is critical to the evolution of the system. Examine the improvements and continue to optimize your systems.Good luck.
