About this game

Ironholm: Reign of the Isles is a real-time strategy game about conquering medieval islands. Expand your kingdom, raise armies, and capture new regions while commanding entire forces instead of individual soldiers. Plan your expansion, reinforce key positions, and choose the right moment to strike.

You begin with a small headquarters and limited resources. Every region you capture opens up new opportunities for growth. Build an economy capable of supporting a growing army, construct new structures, upgrade existing buildings, and prepare new regions for further expansion. The larger your kingdom becomes, the more fronts and strategic positions demand your attention.

Instead of manually controlling every individual soldier, you command entire armies across a map divided into regions. Send troops to different fronts, reinforce threatened positions, capture enemy territory, and concentrate your forces where they can break through the enemy's defenses.

The sea is also part of your strategy. By building a lighthouse, you can call in reinforcements by ship and deploy fresh troops to selected coastal regions, opening up new strategic possibilities.

New Units, New Buildings & Demo Coming Soon
Hi everyone!Ironholm has changed a lot over the past few weeks. After updating the natural environment, I turned my attention to two of the most important visual parts of the game: units and buildings.New Unit ModelsThe old low-poly soldiers have been now completely replaced with new models.Swordsmen and archers have received a new look that fits the visual direction of Ironholm much better and makes battles feel more detailed and cohesive. All Buildings ReworkedThe units aren't the only thing that changed.Every building in the game has also received a new model.Farms, barracks, markets, military buildings and the rest of the kingdom have been redesigned to create a more consistent medieval style across the entire game. And this is only part of what has changed recently. The Ironholm Demo Is Almost HereThe biggest news is that the public demo of Ironholm: Reign of the Isles is almost ready. You'll soon be able to build your kingdom, raise armies, capture regions and fight for control of the islands yourself.I'm currently finishing the last improvements and preparing everything for the demo release.More details very soon.Read full article on Community Announcements (radoslaw.romanowski)Patch NotesOfficial
Nature Visual Update
Hi everyone!Based on your feedback, I made a visual update to the nature on the map.The old vegetation felt too simple and too static, so I replaced it with new trees, grass, bushes, flowers, rocks, and small details. Plants now also have subtle movement, which makes the world feel much more alive. You can see the full visual update in this video:Thanks for the feedback and following the development of Ironholm!Read full article on Community Announcements (radoslaw.romanowski)
