About this game

About This Game

Welcome to 3D Print Shop Simulator, the ultimate management and crafting simulation where you build your desktop manufacturing empire from the ground up! Step into the shoes of a budding entrepreneur, manage your hardware, fulfill custom orders, and grow your tiny workspace into a bustling 3D printing factory.

Whether you are fine-tuning the perfect Z-offset, stocking your storefront shelves, or boxing up custom orders for VIP clients, every detail of the 3D printing business is in your hands.

Deep Printing Simulation

This isn't just a waiting game; it’s a hardware simulation. Buy spools of filament in any color imaginable and load them into your machines. To get the highest quality prints (and the highest payouts!), you will need to actively calibrate your printers. Dial in the perfect Nozzle Temperature, Extrusion Rate, and Z-Offset. Push your machines to print fast for quick cash, or slow them down to guarantee a flawless, high-quality product.

Run Your Storefront

Your shop isn’t just for fulfilling online orders—walk-in customers want to buy your creations! Arrange physical display shelves using a precise grid system or freely place items exactly how you want them. The game dynamically calculates the retail price of your prints based on their actual physical volume, the cost of the filament, and the machine time used. Watch as AI customers browse your store, pick up your prints, and head to the checkout counter!

Fulfill Custom Orders

Use your in-game computer OS to check the daily job board. Customers will request specific items, exact colors, and minimum quality standards. Slice the files, monitor the print progress, package the finished products into shipping boxes, and drop them off at the delivery zone to earn massive payouts and unlock new digital blueprints.

Full Modding Support (Import Your Own Models!)

Why stop at the models included in the game? 3D Print Shop Simulator features a built-in Mod Loader that allows you to easily drop your own .obj files directly into the game folder. The game will automatically calculate their weight, spawn them in your digital catalog, and let you print, paint, and sell your own real-world creations in-game!

Key Features:

  • Tactile Hardware Management: Swap filament spools, manage inventory, and maintain your machines.

  • In-Depth Calibration: Balance print speed against quality by tuning temp, extrusion, and offset sliders.

  • Active Storefront: Buy furniture, physically stock shelves, and serve walk-in AI customers.

  • Dynamic Economy: Prices and material costs are procedurally calculated based on the actual 3D volume of the objects you print.

  • Progression System: Earn money and XP to expand your shop, buy faster printers, and purchase licenses for complex 3D models.

  • Custom Colors: Use the DIY Color Picker to dial in specific hex codes and fulfill exact customer requests.

  • Pack & Ship: Manually box up multi-item orders and drop them at the shipping zone.

Start the extruders, balance your budget, and build the ultimate 3D Print Shop today!

    Thumb Drive Collectables

Hi all! So a few things I have added but the one I love most is the collectable Thumb Drives in game! They aren't just "Collect 100 Thumb Drives to get some stupid prize" with no other benefits. Each one unlocks either a printable object on its own or a piece of a larger print. To give an example, an object like a chair will only need 1 Thumb Drive. Not as a currency, but actually finding it or completing a quest that unlocks it. However the van that is in game takes about 3, where the last one comes from a quest.

    Terrain and more!

Here is an image of the game terrain as of now! Road models made by Atomic Realm! Working on creating the populated areas and going to test the buildings! I am still deciding how to do upgrading, whether it is just a single building and working your way up, or another developer has suggested starting in the equivalent of a small shed or a tiny garage then buy your first property. I wanted to share the progress and once i get the layout done I will remove the grass out the street and make it look nicer. For now it is progress over perfection! ~Spadez

    So it begins

Hi all! This is the first post of the new game and we will be focusing on what to expect coming up. Overall a lot of the features are in game and ready to go. There is a lot that I want to add but I want to get testing out as soon as possible for people. MAJOR UPDATE: STEAM WORKSHOPThough it will be a major part of the game, Steam Workshop does not work on Demo applications due to the AppID situation. That is fined because mod files (where it would download anyway) can be shared, but please, only do so by safe and trusted sources. I will supply instructions to putting your own OBJ files into the mod folder and how to check to see it's sizing and orientation as well as set the product license price. MAJOR UPDATE: CUSTOM MODELSProduct licenses are set by players for custom models. This means you can set it to $0 and buy it immediately to start your business by selling a variety of stuff you like. Custom models uses a size check and weight. The weight and math for sizing automatically uses the correct filament amount. This also sets the price in game based on how much filament was used to make the object. NEEDED ADDITIONS: TESTING, TESTING, MORE TESTINGThough I have customers coming in, I have the ability to print objects, place on shelves, have NPCs come in to buy it, and a lot more. It just isn't quite there yet for demo. I want you guys to have access to it as soon as possible, but I don't want to release a game test that has a bunch of loading or saving issues, or randomly disappearing items etc. I want it to be steady and ready for testing properly. I will be adding more screenshots as things become available. I already need to update the screenshots on the store page and we JUST launched it, but that is a good sign. Thank you all that had helped before this moment and thank you to everyone that is here now and in the future. You have all helped to bring this forward! I cannot wait to return the favor by adding more that people want and let the community shape thi...
