About this game
No Confidence Hearts is an Adult Romance Visual Novel set inside 10 Downing Street during a twelve-week countdown to a cross-bench vote of no confidence that could topple the government—and everyone's career with it. You play as Rupert Aldwyn, the Prime Minister's Director of Political Strategy: calm, surgical, and responsible for keeping the building standing while polling collapses, the lobby circles, and the opposition counts signatures.
Between morning briefings and late-night backchannels, three women enter Rupert's orbit—each with her own power, her own agenda, and her own way of testing what "confidence" really means.
Meet the Cast
Annabel Sheringham — "The Motion"
Conservative Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury and the operational architect behind the cross-bench no-confidence push. Polished, formidable, and strategically relentless. She and Rupert share a history neither of them has named in nineteen years, and as the vote approaches, their renewed connection becomes a fault line between duty and desire.
Genevieve Holcombe — "The Lobby"
The Times' Political Editor, embedded in Number 10 to write a definitive series on the government's slow-motion collapse. Years ago, she published a career-defining piece that helped derail Rupert's ambitions. Now she's back with corridor access, an audio recorder, and a talent for asking questions that feel like invitations and indictments at once.
Effie Lockhart — "The Brief"
Rupert's junior Special Adviser—brilliant, fast, and relentlessly precise, treating people and politics like models that return hard probabilities. She brings urgency to the job and a closeness to Rupert that begins as mentorship and threatens to become the most dangerous kind of workplace secret.
