About this game
Title:
Don't Pop!: Splash Race
Genre:
3D Platformer, Physics-Based Racing, Casual, Multiplayer, PvP, Party Game, Level Editor
Players:
1 player solo / 2-8 players online
How it plays:
Don't Pop!: Splash Race is a 3D physics-based racing game where you control a bouncy water balloon, make your way through obstacle courses, and try to reach the finish line first.
Practice a course on your own and go for a clean run, or jump into online multiplayer for a chaotic race against other players.
Winning:
Every match is a single, decisive run. The first player to cross the finish line is shown as the Winner, and the results screen puts the top three on a podium.
Tokens and customization:
Finishing a race earns you tokens, which you can spend on decorating your water balloon. Solo runs award tokens too, but multiplayer pays out more — so there's always a reason to race against others.
Custom maps (Beta):
Build your own courses with the in-game map editor. Place objects, edit their detailed properties, and jump into a test run at any time while building. Upload your finished maps to share them, download maps made by other players, and play custom maps in both solo and multiplayer.
Crossplay:
Steam and STOVE players can race together in the same lobby.
Key features:
Bouncy, physics-based controls
A water balloon that pops the instant it hits the wrong obstacle
Short, fast, single-run races
Solo play and 2-8 player online multiplayer
Unpredictable, B-movie-flavored party racing
Earn tokens by finishing races
Customize your balloon with the tokens you earn
Podium finish for the top three, with a Winner callout
Build your own courses with the in-game map editor (Beta)
Upload, download, and rate community maps (Beta)
Steam ↔ STOVE crossplay
