About this game

Voluntary Isolation is a first person dungeon crawler inspired by 3D Monster Maze. You are hired by a mysterious facility to test their new VR system. Within you may find various monsters that suddenly appeared across the world.

Wander around the maze with the grid-based movement

Your character only moves from tile to tile. Collect the orbs and interact with the environment to make sure you escape.

Strategize the path using your monitor

Your monitor shows you the layout of the maze and other useful information. Choose a wrong path, and your story may end early. Be careful, the monitor is prone to errors and glitches.

If it sees you. RUN

In the game there are over 10 different enemies scattered across various levels. Each one having a unique mechanic to learn.

It gets rid of many bugs we found recently.BUG FIXES-Text will now be rendered properly after pausing the game.-Chase music will now end properly whenever Anomalies cannot track you.-Anomaly 4 now has a proper jumpscare when the lights are turned on.-Added a missing floor tile in Level 15.-Screenshots now work properly with steam.-You no longer can pause the game in the second ending.-Glitched walls are now actually treated as walls.-Anomalies should get stuck less often.-Only one ambient track can play at the same time.-Anomaly 9 no longer plays a sound when it's speed increases in normal levels.QUALITY OF LIFE FEATURES-Anomaly 5 now appears less often and gives more time to react.-Anomaly 5 does not spawn when the player is near levers and charging stations.-Anomaly 5 can no longer change textures of walls with unique textures.-Enemies now spawn less frequently and their AI is now increasing more slowly in a certain mode.-Static Tiles are now 3 times as rare in a certain mode.-Removed 2 AI points from Anomaly 1 in level 18.-Completely remade level 19.-Static indicating which option is selected in the menu now should be more visible.-Chase music now plays at only 90% volume.
