Herds graze and drink. Predators stalk them — and you. Leave a carcass in the open and it rots, and rot draws hungry things. Hunt with bow or blade, skin your kills, cook what you take. The world reacts; nothing is scripted.

Discovery is the key

You don't grind tech trees. You find things. Study a ruined castle and learn to raise stone walls of your own. Reach a distant region and its materials open new recipes. Stumble on a lost tool — or the plans to craft it. The further you range, the more you can do.

Build freely, live deeply

Freeform building on a snap grid — camp, cottage, timber hall, castle. Farm real crops with real spacing and companion planting (corn, beans, and squash grow better together). Hunt, fish, tame and ride. Cook, eat, drink, rest. Survival here paces your days instead of threatening them: hunger slows you down, it never kills you.
