  The RIGHT Fantasy Delay Notice: External LLM Changes and an Official Free Cloud

  Hello everyone,We are sorry to announce that The RIGHT Fantasy has not passed the latest Steam review, so the release date will need to be postponed again.While we resubmit the build and wait for the next review queue, we will continue polishing the game, improving existing features, and refining the overall experience.The main reason for the review issue is that Steam policy does not allow players to manually enter their own API keys in order to directly connect to external LLM services. This kind of setup may bypass Steam’s payment and management systems, making it difficult for Steam to regulate any related paid services.Steam’s suggested solution is for us, as the official development team of The RIGHT Fantasy, to provide and manage the external LLM service directly. However, The RIGHT Fantasy is still planned as a completely free game, and we are currently not in a position to deploy and maintain our own official AI model infrastructure.Because of this, we are now exploring a more suitable alternative: an official free public cloud LLM access service. Our goal is to let players continue enjoying the expanded gameplay made possible by external LLMs, while avoiding additional costs for the community as much as possible.At the moment, we expect the release date of The RIGHT Fantasy to move to late July. The exact timing will depend on the progress of Steam’s build review process.Thank you again for your understanding, patience, and support.   Hello! Nice to Meet You — Introduction & Release Update

  Hello everyone!I'm Tu Hengyu, creator of The Right Fantasy (最中幻想). Thank you so much for your interest and support!Here are a few things many of you have been asking about:1. Release Date UpdateRight Fantasy was originally scheduled to launch on June 25, 2026. I submitted the build on June 20, but it is still pending Steam review. As a result, the official release may be delayed to around June 30. I'll post an update here as soon as I have confirmed news. Thank you for your patience.2. Early AccessRight Fantasy will launch in Early Access. The first version will focus on SillyTavern (ST) compatibility — we currently support 90%+ of ST character cards with playable results. We will also open Steam Workshop, so you can upload character cards you've created yourself, or cards you have permission to share.3. Our VisionRight Fantasy grew out of my experience with the ST Tavern ecosystem.As AI advances and the community keeps pushing boundaries, advanced ST character cards are evolving along a path from UI theming → heavy front-end → multi-script mechanics → standalone front-end — gradually becoming something closer to standalone games.But SillyTavern, as a native browser-based front-end project, often isn't enough on its own to support that heavier direction. We want to find a path between traditional game engines and ST-style LLM dialogue games — building an AI game platform and engine for this new era.4.
