About this game

Slaying monsters is a job for heroes, but we couldn't care less. Because let’s face it: silver swords don't solve every problem. Selling them overpriced therapy and volatile elixirs? Now that is a job for visionaries like us. Potions & Passions is a dark comedy alchemy shop simulation where ethics are just another price tag.

Brew Elixirs, Meet Dysfunctional Monsters, Save Marriages, or Just Ruin Everything

Prepare your cauldrons, gather ingredients through shady means, and pull the strings of these monstrous couples. A husband begging for a 'Love Potion'? Or a witch looking to put her husband to sleep permanently? It doesn't matter who is right; it only matters who pays more gold. Will you serve the wrong potion just to witness their bizarre side effects, or will you cash in on a monster's divorce alimony?

As the Master Alchemist, your duty is to sell life-saving concoctions to the creatures visiting your shop, or pit them against each other to enjoy their hilariously chaotic arguments. Remember: a happy home is nice, but a broken marriage means double the potion sales. Boil your cauldron, bottle their egos, and embrace the dark side of capitalism.

🧪 Gameplay Features:

  • ⚗️Tailored Brews: Serve your custom potion recipes to a variety of bizarre customers.

  • 🐦‍⬛Graveyard Expeditions: Send your trusted crow to the cemetery to scavenge for rare alchemy ingredients.

  • 🌀Aromas of Chaos: Craft potions that smell heavenly or absolutely rancid.

  • 💥Glorious Failures: Experience the chaotic absurdities triggered by serving the wrong potions.

  • 🕊️Creature Counseling: Solve the dramatic problems of married (and single) monsters. (Who knows? Maybe the singles will tie the knot, and the married ones will save their vows... or completely shatter them).

  • 💰The Capitalist Grind: Pick your ingredients carefully, hoard your gold, and upgrade your shop to maximize profits.

💀 Game Mechanics:

  • ⚡Dynamic and Randomized Customer Cycle

  • 🎴Card-Based Graveyard Loot System

  • 📦Deep Grid Inventory Management

  • 🎃Randomized Hilarious Encounters & Spooky Events

  • 🍑Discovering Rare and Exotic Ingredients

  • 🤮Fresh vs. Rotten Ingredient Quality Selection

    ...And much more unhinged chaos!

Intervene in the tragicomic feuds of vampire, werewolf, and troll couples or actively instigate them. Trade your morals for cold hard gold and become the sleaziest alchemist in the realm.

Tired of your vampire wife telling the same 400-year-old story? Is your werewolf husband shedding so much fur on the carpet you could literally open a blanket factory? Potions & Passions: Therapist for Monsters welcomes you to the most toxic relationship counseling in the fantasy world.

Every mythical creature walking through our shop door carries a heavy, hilarious, or downright bizarre emotional trauma. Before you start brewing remedies in the upcoming demo, here is the official, fully detailed psychiatric case file of our local neighbourhood monsters. Which one are you most excited to treat? FACTION 1: THE VAMPIRES When you are immortal, you have a lot of time to develop bizarre psychological complexes. Here is the medical file for our blood-sucking, anti-sunlight patients: • Nieleman (The Midlife Crisis Lord): 300 years old and completely done with immortality. He is going through a massive midlife crisis and needs something for existential dread. • Velut (The Tired Aristocrat): Sleep deprivation is hitting hard when you are allergic to daylight. He just wants a potion that tastes like black coffee but doesn't burn his tongue. • Clinda (The SPF-1000 Victim): A fashionable vampire who accidentally bought normal sunscreen instead of magical block. She's currently dealing with severe skin peeling and a ruined social life. SUB-FACTION A: THE VAMPIRE PRINCESSES• Svena: An immortal influencer who is having a mental breakdown because she has no reflection in the mirror to check her makeup before live streaming. • Sera: She is deeply traumatized because her modern vampire boyfriend "ghosted" her by literally turning into mist and flying away during a date. • Nara: A tragic case of a vampire girl who accidentally bought "garlic-infused" lip balm from a sketchy goblin market. Her lips are currently on fire. • Kara: She has severe anxiety about the dark. Yes, a vampire who is genuinely afraid of the dark and sleeps with 42 skull candles turned on. • Zeyna: She believes she was a legendary warrior princess in her past life, but now she is just too tired to get out of her coffin before 1...
