About this game
In Pegs & Sorcery, you don't just pick a card—you aim for it. Every battle starts by lining up your shot. Send your enchanted spheres bouncing through a maze of pegs to build up your mana, then spend that energy to unleash devastating spells, blades, and curses. You’re looking for that one perfect bounce that sets off a massive combo. One clean line can turn a desperate fight into your best run yet.
This is a fantasy roguelike deckbuilder built on momentum and improvisation. First, you read the board and trust the bounce. Then, you spend the power you earned on the cards in your hand. Every ricochet matters. Every peg hit changes your options. Every turn asks whether you spend now, save for something bigger, or gamble on one more explosive chain.
Push onward through branching paths filled with brutal fights, elite threats, treasure, shops, rest sites, and strange encounters. Recruit heroes with distinct playstyles, discover new cards, stack traits and items, and build a strategy that feels like your own brand of sorcery. Carve a path with precise strikes, drown enemies in status effects, or engineer outrageous synergies that turn the board itself into a weapon.
The deeper you go, the more dangerous the journey becomes. Harder enemies, riskier choices, rarer rewards, and sharper build decisions force you to adapt from run to run. No route is guaranteed. No victory comes free. The thrill is in surviving long enough to make your build sing.
FEATURES
Physics-fueled battles - Launch enchanted balls through a magical pegboard to generate the power that drives each turn.
Two-phase combat - Blend real aiming skill with tactical card play in a combat loop built around bounce, payoff, and timing.
Fantasy deckbuilding - Draft new cards, upgrade key tools, cut dead weight, and shape a run around explosive synergies.
Distinct heroes - Command heroes with different roles, cards, and ball behavior, then combine them into deadlier strategies.
Branching roguelike runs - Choose your path through battles, elites, treasure, shops, recovery, and uncertain encounters.
Run-defining progression - Unlock more options between attempts and keep expanding what future runs can become.
When the angle is right, the combo catches, and the whole board erupts in magic, Pegs & Sorcery becomes a battle of instinct, planning, and glorious chaos.

Pegs & Sorcery Playtest Is Open
This is a big one for us: Pegs & Sorcery is now open for Playtest, and it's the first time this game has ever been in front of wide range of players. What you're playingPart pachinko, part deckbuilder. Launch a ball down a board studded with pegs — cracking pegs builds Battle Points, which you spend on a hand of cards to attack, defend, and cast spells. Between fights you recruit heroes, collect trinkets, and pick your route across a branching dungeon map. It's the mash-up we set out to build, and now you get to tell us if it actually works. This build covers:3 playable heroesA full act, run start to boss2-hero partyShops, rest sites, recruitment, story encounters, elite fights, and the final bossBefore you dive inThis is a playtest, not a polished demo slice — rough edges and unbalanced numbers are part of the deal. There's no end date yet; we want to keep it open and keep learning from you for as long as it's useful. We want to hear everythingThere's a button right in the main menu that takes you straight to our Steam Discussion board — that's our home base for feedback. Bugs, balance gripes, "why doesn't X do Y," what clicked, what didn't. This is genuinely exciting for us — thank you for being some of the first people to ever play this game, and we can't wait to hear what you think.Read full article on Community Announcements (VoidHunter)AnnouncementsOfficial
