About this game
Dome: Become Thyself is a simulation roguelite where the players can learn the language of emotions, explore the infinite procedurally generated world, speak to other versions of yourself, and uncover what lies beneath the surface.
learn the language of reality: collect words and combine them into powerful sentences to cast abilities, solve puzzles, reshape your surroundings.
infinite procedural world: every time you play, your start from a new origin. reality becomes more unstable the further you explore.
dome-based gameplay: your Dome is a living toolkit of emotional expression. use it to attack, defend, reveal hidden structures, navigate, alter scale, fly, or even flip the world upside down.
early access release is in active development. content, balance, visuals, audio, progression, and mechanics can change as the game grows through updates and player feedback.

Big Update!
BIG UPDATE: COMBAT, MOVEMENT, DEPTH & MOREThis update touches almost every part of Dome: typing and combat, movement, exploration, opening questline, terminal, camera, walls, performance, and a long list of bugs.TYPING & COMBATCasting now works in every dome mode. You never need to switch modes just to type a word.Ward reworked into a viable shield, its bubble remains visible while active, your remaining shield is shown on the form bar, and ward protects your converts too.Dome Scream now recharges naturally in about 10 seconds instead of 2 minutes, while kills still charge it quickly.Introduced screen shake based on severity. Scratches barely register, while a near-death damage hits hard.Falling one floor now costs 25 form instead of 100.MOVEMENTJumps are now properly ballistic.Every jump carries your takeoff momentum. DEPTH & CAPACITYTraversal in the first five floors above and below the Shrine are completely free. New players can explore and learn without capacity (LVL) pressure.Beyond that, each floor requires capacity equal to its depth: floor 6 asks for 6, floor 12 asks for 12, floor 100 asks for 100.If underleveled, simply going there is no longer an immediate wall. Strain now scales with how badly under-capacity you are. Slightly under is a slow burn, while a place beyond your limits will still melt you.Corridors, junctions and shrines remain free, so travel is always possible.THE TERMINALThe boot menu is now an actual terminal.Navigate with keyboard or mouse. Confirmations are simple yes/no, with no as the safe default.Terminal text now types character-by-character with a phosphor afterglow. Any key skips the animation. There's also a new boot splash, cleaner transitions, and fixes for skipping and alt-tabbing.THE SHRINE & QUESTLINEThe opening flow has also been reworked to give personality to the NPCs and improve onboarding.Characters now naturally point toward the next step, and the objective tracker follows the new progression.Large parts of the Shrine dia...Read full article on Community Announcements (Tikky)AnnouncementsOfficial
the free playtest is ending, Dome is going paid

Reach out on Discord if you need access. The full game: Dome 1.0 will be a paid release. I'll announce details (price, date, store page) when it's ready.Thank you to everyone who tried playing, broke things, and told me about it. Building this as a solo dev has been a dream come true, and I can't wait to show you the rest.Read full article on Community Announcements (Tikky)
