About this game

Jack Bonecroft 4 is a story-driven action RPG set across the four distinct kingdoms — Valeria, Thronveil, Voltaris, and Drakenscar in the Solrithia Continent — a world of ancient forests, industrial cities, crystal-veined caverns, and mist-covered lands where the boundary between dimensions runs thin.

You play as Lunara Mistwalker, a traveller from a distant dimension, sent to Solrithia with a single instruction: find Jack Bonecroft. A man she has never met. To a man, she has been sent to ask for his help. He is the only individual capable of stopping what is coming. What follows is a journey across four kingdoms, each of which holds something Lunara needs. None of them is expecting her.

EXPLORE A LIVING WORLD

Four distinct kingdoms await — each with its own culture, architecture, economy, and history. Valeria's golden fields and open warmth. Thronveil's ancient forest and Sylvari wisdom. Voltaris's industrial precision and crystal-powered machinery. Drakenscar's mist, crystal dust, and the particular strength of a people shaped by harsh terrain.

Every settlement has stories. Every library has records. Every person you meet has a life that existed before you arrived and will continue after you leave.

A STORY BUILT ON HISTORY

The continent of Solrithia carries the weight of The Conquest of Greed — a war that ended three thousand years ago and still shapes every kingdom standing today. The warrior who ended it, Jack Bonecroft, made a pact. That pact has been waiting for the right person to help fulfil it again.

You are that person. Probably.

 L.U.M.I.R.

You are not alone. L.U.M.I.R. — Lightweight Mobile Inventory and Response Unit — accompanies you throughout the journey. He handles navigation, translation, inventory management, and commentary (mostly the commentary) with a growing log of observations and the occasional moment of something that functions very much like wonder.

SOMETHING IS COMING

The crystal networks across Solrithia have been tracking dimensional pressure for longer than anyone realised. The boundary between this world and others has been thinning. Whatever is pressing against it is getting closer.

Jack Bonecroft ended one war. The next one hasn't started yet.

Bring him back before it does.

Features

  • A story-driven action RPG with exploration elements

  • A narrative with fully written dialogue for (almost) every character

  • Four distinct kingdoms with unique cultures, histories, and visual identities

  • A companion system built around Lumir — reactive, commenting, and genuinely present throughout the journey

  • A mystery that unfolds slowly across the entire game and series.

  • Libraries with regional history and lore for those who want to go deeper

  • Environmental storytelling through statues, inscriptions, and world details

  • Based on true events witnessed during my business trip to this sector

  • I RUN OUT OF TEA !!!

Jack Bonecroft 4 and Jack Bonecroft Universe are independent productions by Galactic Tenebris Company. All development and design by a single developer(for now).

The events of this game are based on true events I witnessed firsthand during a business trip to this sector. All kingdoms, characters, and crystal formations are as accurate as memory and game development allow. I was there. I saw everything. What you are about to play is a faithful account of what happened.

P.S. Lu and Mae are my employees; they make sure the game works fine, and also, I am out of TEA. I hope you enjoy my game.

    Jack Bonecroft: What Comes Next?

Good evening, let's talk about the future of Jack Bonecroft.I hope you enjoyed the game, even if there are still some bugs that may be discovered. So, what's next? When will the next part come out?I'm happy to say that starting in August, I will begin working on the next part.I can't reveal much yet, but what I can say from the technical side is that the graphics will be improved (as planned, each game in the series will look better and better or at least i will try), there will be more mechanics, and a bigger world for you to explore. My goal is to finish it within one year. This game took me almost two years to create, but during that time I was also learning modeling, animation, coding, and everything else that goes into game development. You could say it was a rough beginning, but after making the first game, I am much more experienced. My workflow should be much smoother this time because I know what I’m doing instead of learning everything during development. The current plan is:6 months for modeling, preparing assets, and creating everything that is not directly related to programming.6 months for programming and implementing the systems. Of course, this is only a plan, and things may change during development, but this is the overall direction. If you are worried that I will abandon Jack Bonecroft 4 and focus only on the next game, rest assured that this is not the case. I will still be watching the discussion boards, and if you encounter any bugs or issues, my focus will shift back toward fixing Jack Bonecroft 4.I hope you will try the next part when it comes out.Vincere aut mori. I hope you survive this day.Mr. M. Owner of Galactic Tenebris Company

    Thank you for 100 wishlists.

Thank you for 100 wishlists on the first game in this series!I hope you'll get the chance to play it soon—but there's no pressure. Everyone has their own right time.Honestly, even reaching 10 wishlists was a surprise to me. I never expected so many people to notice my game, let alone support it in this way.I'll continue doing my best to listen to the community and fix any bugs or issues you encounter during your journey.Vincere aut Mori.I hope you survive this day.Mr. M. Performance & Optimization Update

Thanks to the help of the community, I've implemented a new optimization system!Based on your feedback, I added new performance settings and several gameplay optimizations that should noticeably improve performance, especially on older PCs. Thanks to your reports, more people will be able to enjoy the game with a smoother experience.Below, you can see what to expect in the latest update.Thank you all for your feedback and support—it truly helps make the game better. WEATHER EFFECTS - TURN OFF/ON RAIN - Rain uses the CPU, not the GPU, so if you have an older CPU, use this option.CUTTING VIEW CAMERA - It cuts your view distance so you won't see the whole map at once. You can select the best distance for you. Max value is 1000m. Have great day Mr.M., owner of Galactic Tenebris Company

Fixed excessive pixelation on monitors with various resolutions.

There is a subtle pixelation filter in the game, along with a few other visual effects, and they are all intentional for story purposes. However, it turns out I forgot to add the settings that keep the pixelation strength consistent across different screen resolutions. As a result, if you were playing at a resolution higher or lower than the default, the pixelation could appear much stronger than intended. Rest assured, this has now been fixed. Just remember to turn off fullscreen.

Going Insane. The weirdest bug I’ve ever fixed in my game.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, these two triangles were the reason the whole game was crashing. They were causing an infinite loop.
