Players are more than ratings.
Each squad contains different personalities, expectations, confidence levels, ambitions, and career trajectories.
A veteran may expect a leadership role.

A star player may become frustrated after being dropped.
Some players thrive under pressure. Others struggle when confidence disappears.
Manage morale, form, selection expectations, player roles, and dressing-room chemistry as you try to turn individual talent into a championship team.

Version 4.8 — Match Balance & Gameplay Fixes
Match Engine Fixed batting collapses happening too frequently — wicket probability in T10, T20, and ODI formats has been recalibrated with lower baselines and a collapse protection system for early innings Fixed repeated "Chance!" commentary appearing multiple times in the same over — near-miss events now have a cooldown so they feel meaningful rather than spammy Misfields are no longer flagged as dismissal chances in the match log Fixed a bug where promoting a lower-order batter would skip available middle-order batters, causing the innings to behave as if the side was all out Defensive batting is now a more meaningful survival choice with lower wicket risk; attacking batting carries a clearer run-scoring vs wicket-risk trade-off AI bowling selection now restricts to credible bowlers — ordinary batters will no longer bowl full spells when genuine options are available AI chase aggression now correctly accounts for balls remaining mid-over rather than only whole overs Fixed AI batters at the crease during a chase being too passive after wickets fall in a T20 World League Fixed a crash when creating a league containing both the New Zealand Northern Knights and Ireland Northern Knights — the duplicate team ID has been resolved League team selection screen now uses a composite key so it remains stable even when older save data is loaded Transfer Market & Domestic Fixed an issue with the domestic player mix in the transfer marketRead full article on Community Announcements (vrk1990)Patch NotesOfficial
Cricket Management Tycoon 2026 — Version 4.7 Patch Notes
New Features Player Story Arcs Players now have dynamic narrative states that evolve through the season. Active arcs include Breakthrough Season, Contract Dispute, Veteran Decline, Captaincy Candidate, Returning From Injury, Young Prospect Hype, Form Slump, and Series Hero. Each arc is visible in the squad tab and produces story cards in the post-match summary. Manager responses (Reassure, Challenge, Ignore) have real effects on morale and confidence. Mentorship System Assign a veteran (age 30+, rating 70+) as a mentor to a young or recently promoted player. Up to two active mentorships per season. Mentors provide potential growth bonuses, raise confidence floors, speed up form recovery, and improve contract loyalty. Mentor effectiveness drops by 30% if they play every match — creating meaningful rotation decisions. Player Promises Attach a promise to contract offers: Regular Starter, Rotation Player, Development Player, Format Specialist, or Leadership Pathway. Keeping promises rewards morale and loyalty. Breaking them triggers board messages and wage demands. Academy Intake Day A dedicated season-start screen where 3–6 youth prospects are presented for recruitment. Each prospect has a name, age, role, current rating, and potential rating. Players can accept, decline, or defer. Accepted players join the academy and progress through seasons. International Career Full international career workflow added. Select a nation, manage international squads, and compete in international fixtures alongside your domestic career. Includes India, Ireland, and all full ICC members. T20 Career Workflow Dedicated T20 franchise career path reworked with its own squad management, auction simulation, and season structure. Expanded Country Support Domestic career now supports New Zealand (Auckland) and West Indies (Barbados Pride) in addition to existing countries. Also supports more than 7 countries simultaneously. Achievement Screen Achievements screen redesigned with improved layout ...Read full article on Community Announcements (vrk1990)Patch NotesOfficial
