Content notice: Concrete Coffin is a text and UI-based survival management game. The game explores dark and mature themes inherent to a dystopian survival scenario. Players will read text-based descriptions of violence, riots, starvation, severe illness, and psychological distress. As a consequence of the player's moral choices, characters or population groups may die, and themes of hopelessness or depression are heavily implied in the narrative. Please note: There are NO graphic visual depictions of violence, gore, or sexual content in this game. All mature content is delivered entirely through narrative text and atmospheric storytelling.

About this game
As the Governor, your duty is simple yet brutal: Keep the shelter alive for 10 weeks (70 days).
Balance 6 Core Resources
Reactor Power, Population, Food, Water, Morale, and Disease. If any of these collapse, it will trigger deadly famines, epidemics, riots, or catastrophic reactor explosions.Advisors and Hard Choices
Every day brings critical incident reports from across the shelter's sectors. Chief Engineer Eren, Security Chief Varr, Chief Medical Officer Niva, and Communications Officer Mira bring the situation to your desk. There are no right decisions; saving one resource always means sacrificing another, and gaining the trust of one advisor means risking alienation from another.Listen to the Whispers of the People
Hear the immediate aftermath of your orders echoing through the dark corridors. Unfiltered reactions from workers, guards, and desperate citizens reflect the true pulse of the shelter.Weekly Strategy Table
At the end of each week, determine the direction of the shelter:- Workforce Allocation: Assign healthy adults to food production, water purification, and reactor maintenance. As sickness spreads, capable workers will become scarce.
- Crisis Policies: Rewrite the shelter's decrees to survive shortages and unrest—slash food rations, enforce strict quarantines, or declare martial law.
Key Features
- Choice & Resource-Driven Gameplay: A demanding management system where every choice directly impacts critical resources and advisor loyalty.
- 10-Week (70 Days) Survival Campaign: Escalating psychological tension, reactor sabotages, and unpredictable emergency crises.
- Weekly Strategy & Workforce Allocation: Balance long-term survival through workforce assignments and authoritarian shelter policies.
- Whispers of the People: Experience the psychological and sociological impact of your governance on the underground populace.
- Full Turkish, English, and Chinese Language Support.
🌐 Localization & Language Support Note
Concrete Coffin is an indie project passionately created by a solo developer. To bring the game to players worldwide in their native languages, I utilized advanced AI-assisted localization pipelines, with all narrative texts cross-checked and verified multiple times across at least two different AI models. While AI translation has come a long way, occasional subtle context mismatches or phrasing quirks may still occur. I am actively maintaining and updating the game; if you encounter any translation errors or awkward wording, I would be very grateful if you could share them on the Steam Discussions board. Thank you so much for your support and understanding!
Developer Note: This game is in active development. Visuals, narrative content, and mechanics may be updated prior to the final release. Additional language support will be introduced in future updates.

Current State of the Game - September
Concrete Coffin Demo is Live & What I Did This Month In last month's post, I mentioned that I would be focusing entirely on preparing the demo version. During the first few weeks of the month, I ran checks, fixed the bugs I found, and completed the necessary adjustments. Finally, as of August 29th, I have published the Concrete Coffin demo publicly on Steam. You can now download and try the game directly from the Steam store page. Chinese Language Support Added As part of my efforts to expand the game's language infrastructure, I have added Chinese language support. What Happened to Last Month's Goals? ✅ Demo Preparation and Release → After bug clearing and checks in the first few weeks, the demo was successfully released. ✅ Bug and Stability Checks → Potential crashes and system errors were resolved. ✅ Language Infrastructure → In addition to Turkish and English, Chinese language support was prepared. My Plan for This Month: General Review and Assessment With the release of the demo, instead of sticking to a development schedule this month, I will be entering a general assessment and review process. I will evaluate the current state of the game, potential bug areas, and overall mechanics. Depending on how things progress, I might add new languages to the demo or make minor tweaks to areas I feel are lacking. In short, I plan to spend this month as a flexible period to evaluate the game's current needs and clarify my next steps. If you want to experience the demo, you can download it from the store page and support the project by adding the game to your wishlist! Don't forget to share your experiences and feedback with me in the Steam Discussions section.Read full article on Community Announcements (YMV)AnnouncementsOfficial
Current State of the Game - August
What Did I Do This Month? After focusing heavily on the UI last month, my main focus this month was adding new mechanics to the game and establishing systems that provide necessary information to the player. I wanted to make players feel that the shelter isn't just about numbers, but that the people living inside also have a voice and reaction. "Whispers of the People" Mechanic Added To better reflect the human factor and the public's reaction in the game, I added "Whispers of the People" texts to event outcomes. Now, you can directly see how the choices you make echo through the shelter corridors. After every decision, rumors and reactions spoken among ordinary people appear on the screen. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/90ed40fdef14eb21470b39add41f35ef37c207a8.png Shelter Archive and Tutorial To better convey the game world and its rules to players, I added a terminal screen called the "Shelter Archive." This screen includes detailed information on what the stats do, sector details, and personnel records. Additionally, I prepared a basic tutorial system for new players. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/cdcb4158ed539e88476413f843d5405519f0e2c9.png Save System Overhauled To strengthen the game's background infrastructure, I worked on the save and load mechanics. I revamped the save system from scratch to make it more stable and seamless. Frequency Mini-Game To diversify gameplay, I added a small mini-game centered around frequency tuning. The UI design for this mini-game is basic for now; I will improve its design further in the coming process. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/e92a0442a2c947f3bb524ad414f6bc4a63e53674.png Map Screen Redesigned Last month, I revamped the event and policy screens, and this month I overhauled the map screen. Current State of the Game - July
What Did I Do This Month? This month, I mainly focused on the game's user interface (UI). I redesigned many screens, from the gameplay screen to the policy selection. My goal was to make the interface more suitable for the game's atmosphere. Event Screen Has Changed I changed the event screen, which is the screen you spend the most time on. In the old version, the stat bars were vertical on the left side of the screen, the character portrait was small, and the options were in a separate panel. In the new design, each event opens as a single panel in the center of the screen. The character's portrait and trust status are on the left, while the event details and choices are together on the right. Image of the game screen from the old version: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/615acd0995d321329eff1e13de3ea5ca3edb7395.jpg Screenshots of the game from the new version: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/a0de4d17bcc50b8c5fe46b13b168be8ee6580755.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/f4276f84cfa3bda063a0d9a03c838ea80ac1e5b9.png The vertical stat bars on the left side of the screen have been removed and replaced with a compact horizontal bar at the top of the screen. The screen feels much cleaner now. Character Trust System Added I added a character trust system as a new mechanic. Now, the decisions you make affect not only the shelter's resources but also the trust your advisors have in you. There is a trust bar under the characters' portraits, and you can see how this value changes as a result of your decisions. Policy Screen Added and Revamped The policy selection screen that appears every weekend has also been redesigned. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/a95df83713aba15036993b8cb8cb5aeb3bfd13e9.png Labor assignment screen added and revamped. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46132513/ce12728ec8daac98ac2b3ae4c5bf9ac498bdb71d.png Weekly Summary Screen Revamped The summary screen that appears at the end of the week has also changed. The week's events and statistics are now presented in a more readable way. {STEAM...Read full article on Community Announcements (YMV)AnnouncementsOfficial
Current State of the Game
Update Note (June 6): This announcement has been updated to reflect the latest developments in the development process. Current State of the Game: Where Am I At? The game currently offers a full 10-week management experience. I have planned about 28 events for each week; this means you will face an average of 4 different crises or situations every day. There are around 280 unique events in total throughout the game. There are 6 core stats that we constantly need to keep balanced during facility management. However, things don't always go smoothly; a crisis begins following a major disaster in the game. If you manage to demonstrate successful management and keep the facility stable for 14 days starting from this moment of crisis, you can avoid the bad ending. The game features a special story chapter called "Hope" that covers this survival process. Additionally, I have made all the texts, interface, and narrative of the game completely ready in both Turkish and English. What I Am Currently Working On and Future Plans: 🛠️ I have completed the News Feed system. I integrated this system into the game to make the player feel what is happening in the outside world better. I am currently actively working on elements that will strengthen the spirit of the gameplay. I am adding new crisis scenarios to the game that will break the routine. In addition, I am developing a system where the decisions you make will directly affect the dynamics and relationships between characters. Besides these, the parts that I haven't started developing yet but plan to work on in the upcoming period are as follows: 🔮 Visual Feedback: I plan to add new symbols and visual indicators to the interface so you can see the consequences of your decisions more clearly. 🔮 Weekly Summary Screen: I am working on ideas to make the summary screen that appears at the end of each week more satisfying and understandable. 🔮 Mechanic Decisions: I will make decisions regarding the main elements of the facility and ...Read full article on Community Announcements (YMV)
