About this game

Final Legal Move is a survival tactics game built on chess movement with a twist.

You control a single white piece while black pieces keep closing in.

Play through a series of escalating story scenarios.

One stage may give you extra moves, another may flood the board with fresh enemies, and another may change your piece form every turn!

Test yourself in Survive mode.

Last as long as possible while enemy waves scale up, hazard tiles appear, timers tighten, and fairy pieces enter the pool.

Earn coins, unlock new forms, and choose upgrades that reshape each run~

Share the headache with others in Co-Op

Or be the one making the rules in Nemesis mode

    Initial Release

Release v0.9!Current iteration of the game offers exactly what are listed on the store page. however things like sandbox can be underdeveloped but this gives us valuable insights in how to release things on this platform...If you have bought this game for whatever reason, thank you, The goal is to get $100 deposit back from steam submission fee.We hope to continue working on the game until we are satisfied with the result, planned path ahead is to:Complete multiplayer (Tentatively call adversarial chess, which is quite a bad name considering chess is always adversarial)Updates to SurviveUpdates to SandboxFix whatever issues we didn't notice during production or failed to regression test them.Replace the assetsWhy not early access?Since we Will continue to work on this regardless of traction, it might make you question why we didn't put it in early access in the first place..The answer to that is quite simple, we 'tried', after two revisions to get approved (which should be child's play for any other people) so we decided to give up and implement all proposed feature and release it as is.Encounter issues? Please reach out to support@nuhmworks.com and we will fix it ASAP.While we do have Twitter account @Nuhmworks, we hadn't post anything, email is more likely to be seen.
