About this game
AmaTisMo is an inclusive visual novel about mental health, depression, and self-love.
You play as Amatista, a young woman trapped in depressive isolation. When an unexpected event forces her out of her apartment, she begins a journey she never asked for, one that will challenge everything she believes about herself and the world around her.
Every dialogue choice feeds into a branching story system. The game tracks your decisions, big and small, and characters react accordingly. The path through Amatista's story is yours to define, and there is no single right answer.
3 acts. 10 chapters. 5 endings.
Built from the ground up to be fully accessible for blind and visually impaired players, with complete screen reader support, keyboard navigation, and audio descriptions.

August Development Update: New WIP Art and Demo News
We are back with a short development update for AmaTisMo. As we mentioned in our latest news posts, we want to keep sharing progress on the game every month, even when the update is small. This time, we are showing new work-in-progress images and talking a little about the demo, which is now available to download on Steam. Game progress We are still working on AmaTisMo's environments and characters. The images we are sharing today are still works in progress: details are missing, colour, composition or polish may be adjusted, and some parts may change before the final version. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46114070/60e262952ca70065b6c983507533766f9ba86187.png Amatista's bedroom: a panoramic colour work-in-progress illustration of a purple bedroom with a low bed, a chest of drawers, a dark window filled with small bright dots, a small wall poster and a table beside a barred window. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46114070/a164901ee84ada8ad097a7091268b899eb36d677.png Secondary university hallway: a panoramic colour work-in-progress illustration of a deep hallway with large windows, a wooden bench, green lockers, a door, yellow walls, tiled flooring and rectangular ceiling lights. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46114070/ec4d20872775f9bb2af7f9749b5f4195c9e9de5f.png Paula: a work-in-progress portrait with light skin and long, voluminous orange-brown hair. A broad strand covers part of one side of her face, her eyes are closed, her cheeks are softly pink, and her small smile gives her a serene, shy and kind expression. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46114070/d2a1494a3f9d75112ab5721eacbee530e918c30c.png Amatista: a work-in-progress portrait with light skin, long dark purple hair, straight bangs and thick strands framing her face. Her brown eyes look to one side, her eyelids seem slightly lowered, and her downturned mouth gives her a serious, tired or worried expression. About the demo The AmaTisMo demo is now available to download on Steam for Windows, Linux and macOS. From now on, we will prepare bug fixes as reports c...Read full article on Community Announcements (VegetinES)Patch NotesOfficial
July Development Update: WIP Art and Steam Demo
We are back with a short development update for AmaTisMo. As we mentioned in our latest news posts, we want to keep sharing progress on the game every month, even when the update is small. The demo is now very close, so we would rather let many things be discovered directly by playing it. Still, we wanted to share two new work-in-progress environments before August arrives. Progress on the game's art We are still working on the art for AmaTisMo. The images we are sharing today are works in progress: details are still missing, the colour, composition or finish may be adjusted, and some parts may change before the final version. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46114070/5218aac17db9ed1f778b3260f22831620d372dcc.png On the way to the university: a panoramic colour illustration of an empty residential street at dusk. High walls, pink-orange houses, pavements, street lamps and tall foreground poles sit under a dark violet sky, with warm light reflected in some windows. Work in progress. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46114070/ccf9a96950ffaa06de0e2a5c1806533da0b0febe.png The kitchen in Amatista's home: a panoramic colour illustration with a grey dining table, brown high-backed chairs, a counter with a sink, brown cabinets, a grey extractor hood, a coffee maker, a white refrigerator and two hanging lamps. Work in progress. Demo coming in the first half of August The AmaTisMo demo will be available on Steam during the first half of August 2026. Our goal is to release it for Windows, and we will try to make it available for Linux and macOS as well. If we find errors or important issues in the demo, we will not simply leave them for the final version: we will work to fix them in the demo too. We want this first public Steam version to be useful for players and for improving the game with real feedback. About languages We have also made a small change to the Steam page: for now, we have removed Japanese from the list of planned languages. We would love to include it someday, but right now we do not know...Read full article on Community Announcements (VegetinES)Patch NotesOfficial
Development Update: Unity Testing, WIP Art and August Demo
It has been a month since our last update and, as promised, we are back to share what we have been working on and what comes next for AmaTisMo. Unity testing has begun We have started testing the new version of the game built in Unity. At the same time, we are continuing to develop the story for the upcoming chapters and working on the game's art. The images we are sharing today are still works in progress: details are still missing, and they may change before the final game. On the way to the university: a panoramic grayscale draft of a residential street drawn with a strongly exaggerated perspective. A modern house behind a high wall stands in the centre, with other homes, pavements, tall poles and smaller street lamps receding into the distance. No people or vehicles are present. Amatista's classroom: a grayscale draft viewed from one corner. Three desks and chairs occupy the room, with open books on two desks. Long curtains cover the windows on the right, while drawings of a winged figure and a person with cat ears hang on the left wall. The kitchen in Amatista's home: a panoramic colour draft with a grey dining table and three brown chairs in front of an L-shaped counter, sink, cabinets and extractor hood. A white refrigerator stands against the pink walls; flat colours and unfinished surfaces show that the environment is still in progress. Demo coming in the first half of August We can also announce that we will release the demo during the first half of August 2026. We will share the exact date and more details as its release gets closer. The demo will be available in these languages: French Spanish for Spain and Latin American Spanish English European Portuguese German Our other planned languages will be available in the final version of the game. If development allows, we may also add some of them to the demo at a later date. Platforms and release window We can now confirm that our goal is to release AmaTisMo simultaneously on Windows, Linux, Android, macOS ...Read full article on Community Announcements (VegetinES)
