About this game

Step into the shoes of June, trapped by a dark entity within a cursed television broadcast. You'll have to survive its sinister string of mini-games, through multiple layers of terror, and face impossible decisions.

Encounter or impersonate other survivors through a branching story where your mastery of the TV's controls determines who escapes to freedom.

All the while, reality and television signals bleed into one another.

IMMERSIVE GAMEPLAY

Play by manipulating virtual TV dials and buttons. Navigate through dials, switch between channels trying to look for some hints, solve puzzles, and directly change how the story unfolds and new channels unlock.

↕️ Navigate a static > 🔁 Tune a program

🔎 Find the clues >  🧩 Solve the puzzle

🤫 Hide and seek > Escape 👤

🏃 Run, jump and crouch > Survive ❤️‍🩹

SURVIVORS' FATE RESTS IN YOUR HANDS

Every survivor's fate rests in your hands. Your choices carve diverging paths through a branching narrative with multiple endings, where no two runs are ever the same.

Characters, set pieces, secrets, and channels interlock to surface a deeper, hidden story, while backtracking opens missed encounters, new routes, and undiscovered frequencies.

A SHIFTING ANTHOLOGY OF NIGHTMARES

While all the programs tie back into solving one overarching cursed mystery, throughout the experience, the broadcasts evolve into a shifting anthology of nightmares, each inspired by a different horror subgenre, reflecting its own personality, ranging from the gritty, heavy-inked shadows of a slasher to the muted, grainy textures of atmospheric folk horror with a visceral, graphic novel aesthetic.

TUNED IN: DEVLOG #1 - IDEA AND EVOLUTION

Welcome to a very special broadcast, beloved audience members! Today we’d like to share with you a few secrets behind the development of Tuned In. Buckle up and get ready for the show! The original idea of Tuned In came from a personal challenge: to design a horror game that broke away from well-worn formulas, such as the classic survival horror style or the first-person perspective, and instead offered an accessible experience with minimal controls but a vast variety of possibilities, following a philosophy that could be compared to the minimalism of great Nintendo games. The creative spark came from remembering that childhood feeling of having to manually search for channels on old TV sets, turning a little dial to tune into a signal, never knowing what image would show up. That mix of uncertainty and surprise, stumbling from ordinary channels to strange broadcasts, tarot shows, or teleshopping programs, became the mechanical and aesthetic backbone of the game. From there came the narrative concept of a cursed television whose channels reveal fragments of a story, forcing the player to jump between them, hunting for clues, solving puzzles, and pushing forward through minigames. All of it brought to life through a striking, visceral graphic-novel aesthetic. While the original pitch laid out the general concept, the controls, and the premise of never straying from the television, we still had to dig deep into the narrative. One of the biggest changes from the initial idea in which the protagonist was mute and the player themselves acted as an inner voice, was the decision to have players - in the final game - embody several different characters whose stories intertwine throughout the game. We also added minigames with more action, expanding the range of mechanics beyond the original puzzles. With those foundations, we built a first prototype, and from there kept layering on art style proposals, visual elements, and effects that unfold outside the television screen itself,...

TUNED IN receives an updated key art!

Last week we attended gamescom, and what an experience! Hundreds of people came by our booth, and we hit our goal of validating interest in Tuned In. Every person who came wanted to play through the end of the prologue, but not all of them could since a waiting line was building up! 😱,But above all, we saw the interest generated around June, the protagonist of our prologue, through whose eyes and hands we unravel the story. And that made us realize something: she’s the one who drives the story but she doesn’t appear on the game’s cover, how is that possible? That’s why, as soon as we were back from the trip, we updated the game’s cover as you can see, giving June the space she deserves. And if you haven’t played the prologue yet, what are you waiting for? The positive reviews on Steam should encourage you to do so!"Great mixture of Storytelling and fun puzzle solving/exploration. Doesn't rely on jump scares, keeps an atmosphere of dread & exploration throughout! Can't wait to play the full game!"
