About this game
Reunion Fate is a dark fantasy experience of psychological horror, bringing discomfort to every corner and uncertainty through the creatures that lurk within the mysterious village of Ophidia
Demons and specters, nightmarish creatures from which your only salvation is praying to the Prime Archons so they do not find you.
Pay attention when the music stops; listen to the sounds, and do not let them see you.
Speak with the inhabitants of Ophidia; they can tell you how to progress.
Uncover everything your surroundings hold and reveal what Noor refuses to admit.
Explore the environments looking for what the inhabitants desire to grant you the information you want to know.
Sibil is the only one who can accompany you; trust at least in him.
Venture into conversation and get to know the inhabitants of Ophidia. They will not just ask you for things; in return, they can provide information that will help you better cope with your encounters with the demons and specters residing in the village. From the undead to supernatural beings, no ordinary inhabitant will harm you, and only one of them will insult you if you disturb them.
History
In a strange village far from familiar surroundings, near an ancient crater, a mystery has emerged that has captured Noor's attention: the lighthouse keeper has disappeared. She must venture into the village of Ophidia with the purpose of finding him while trying to survive against the specters and demons that inhabit the place, discovering along the way that perhaps she shares a mysterious connection with the village without ever having been there before.
Aesthetics
Reunion Fate focuses on a black-and-white aesthetic that reflects a division between life and death from the perspective of both the world and the protagonist herself, a division from which no one can escape once they reach the other side. Death does not forgive life, nor does it grant second chances; it simply does its job. It is not cruel; it is merely just with the rules

FEATURE: Play WITH a CONTROLLER
A new gameplay feature has been added. Reunion Fate is now 98% controller compatible, so please read the following before playing:Experimental function: Controller compatibilityFrom this new version of the DEMO onwards (including future Early Access), you'll be able to play with a controller without having to use a mouse or keyboard for configuration. However, there are some important points to note:The controller feature currently includes the presence of a cursor to navigate and interact with the interfaces. \The controller feature is currently experimental: you may experience errors during use, certain visual interactions, and possibly glitches when using the mouse and controller one after the other.The controller feature has currently been developed using only one generic controller, not more professional ones like Xbox or PlayStation controllers, due to a lack of budget to purchase the aforementioned controllers.The controller feature will share the "Invert Y" option together with the mouse.The controller and mouse currently have different sensitivities that must be adjusted separately in the settings menu.The controller feature is compatible with 99% of the game's interfaces, but there may be parts that require mouse intervention.The feature may contain errors when interacting with buttons in the settings menu, but at the time of writing this note, it is unknown whether these errors could be serious enough to affect game progression. Should any such error occur, players are requested to record it, reproduce it, and join the Discord server to report that the bug exists so it can be fixed as soon as possible.A function has been added to the code that will make controller settings invisible and non-interactable if the controller is not connected. NEW FEATURE: Controller Gameplay
Alongside the creation of the upcoming Early Access version and while waiting to resolve bugs, Cherry'Start (myself) has been working on a feature I hadn't planned to implement but which could be very convenient for certain users.Currently, the option to play with a controller is still under development for both Early Access and the Demo, but I hope to have a decent result so I can release Demo 1.6.5.As soon as the new Demo version is released, it will include an update note here on Steam that will be very important (and I highly recommend you read it) to understand the new feature and avoid any misunderstandings with the game.Read full article on Community Announcements (Cherry'Start)
