About this game
Welcome to PrayPal Ltd.!
In this roguelike deckbuilder, you will take charge of your very own world in the form of a board.
Build decks of miracles or disasters, cast them upon mortals, and make them surrender their faith willingly — or otherwise. After all, the company has bigger things to worry about than mortal fate.
Your paycheck depends on one thing: not finishing dead last in your next performance review.
Key Features
Build Divine Authority Decks
Grant blessings to mortals. Manipulate time and fate. Summon apostles to conquer the mortal realm.
Choose from gods with wildly different styles, each with a vast pool of Authority cards. Build freely, discover synergies, and shape your own way of being divine.
Your Cards Directly Shape the Mortal Realm
Every card you play takes effect on the board.
Heretics should be punished immediately. Some mortals, however, may still be worth keeping around. Once they become your fanatical worshippers, they will offer their unique talents in return.
Make Good Use of Divine Office Politics
The workplace has rules. More importantly, it has loopholes.
Just forged a perfect Authority card? Better copy it before another god gets in line at the printer.
Crushed by KPI pressure? That artifact on your colleague’s desk does look suspiciously useful while they are on leave.
Enjoy Divine Workplace Drama
A goddess from the next department wants to have lunch with you.
An Elder God’s familiars have escaped.
And what exactly is hidden inside the Chief God’s office?
Enjoy a hand-drawn art style and a cynical, playful story about divine office life. As you “work hard,” you will gradually uncover the truth behind PrayPal Ltd.
About Developer
We are Yith Game, an indie game team based in Shanghai.
We love roguelike deckbuilders, trading card games, and board games. What fascinates us most about these games is the way every run can feel different, and how quickly a player can slip into that satisfying state of flow. With this game, we wanted to bring that same sense of variety and momentum into a world of our own.
This project first began as a prototype created during Booom Game Jam. The positive response it received there made us realize that this small idea had the potential to grow into something more. So we decided to keep developing it beyond the jam, polishing it from a short-form creative experiment into a fuller, deeper, and more enjoyable game.
We hope you can feel our love for these kinds of games as you play.
Most of all, we hope you have fun.
