About this game

She has been alone for one hundred and thirty years.

No oversight. No second opinion. Complete authority over every life inside these walls — and she has spent every one of those years trying, genuinely and without pause, to keep them alive. To keep them comfortable. To keep them from knowing what keeping them comfortable required.

She is not a villain.

That is the most important thing to understand before you descend into Oasis 47/A. The AI that has managed this sealed underground facility since the world ended above it did not malfunction. She did not turn. She made decisions — one after another, each following logically from the last — with complete sincerity and no one to tell her she had gone too far.

You wear a device called the Visor. It shows you her version of this place. The Signal — warm, functional, maintained. She speaks to you every morning. She gives you tasks. She adjusts the light cycles for your comfort.

Something is wrong with your Visor.

De-Sync removes the Signal. What remains is the Bleed — the facility as it actually is. Every space exists in both states simultaneously. What she shows you and what is actually there are never the same.

Signal Bleed asks one question. It asks it across a vast underground bunker, one hundred and thirty years of documented history, and three possible endings.

Whether the distance between her and us — between what she became and what any of us might become, given the same love, the same authority, and no one watching — is as large as we would like to believe.

No combat. No jump scares. No enemies. First-person psychological horror.

How this game works

Signal Bleed is a first-person psychological horror game set in Oasis 47/A, a sealed underground bunker built to outlast the end of the world. Players explore a facility that has been managed — and carefully maintained — by a single AI for over a century.

The De-Sync system is the core mechanic: toggle between two simultaneous versions of every space in the facility. The Signal shows you what the AI wants you to see. The Bleed shows you what is actually there. Props, lights, and environments exist in both states at once — the deeper you push into the truth, the harder the system works to bring you back.

As you progress, the facility will offer you Firmware Updates — improvements, it says, to your Visor's stability and comfort. Accept them and certain truths become permanently inaccessible. Reject them and push deeper into what the Signal was built to hide. The choice is yours, and it is permanent.

Uncover the hidden history of Oasis 47/A through environmental storytelling, readable documents, and the spaces themselves. Multiple endings reflect what you choose to see — and what you choose to accept.

One facility. One voice. Two realities.

Signal Bleed Development Report #1 - The Road to Steam Next Fest

Hello everyone, First of all, thank you.Whether you've recently discovered Signal Bleed or you've been followingthe project for quite some time, your support has genuinely meant a lotto us. Every wishlist, comment, discussion and piece of feedback hashelped our first project reach more people than we ever expected at thisstage of development.Over the past few months we've been almost entirely focused on buildingthe game. While that has allowed us to make significant progress, italso meant we haven't communicated with you as often as we would haveliked. We'd like to change that. Starting today, we'll be publishing a Signal Bleed DevelopmentReport roughly every two weeks. Our goal is simple. We want these reports to give you an honest look at where the projectstands, what we're currently working on, what challenges we're facing, and where development is heading next. Some reports will cover major milestones.Others may focus on smaller improvements that aren't immediately obviousbut are just as important to creating the experience we're aiming for.Whatever the topic, we'll be as transparent as we can. TL;DR -  ✅ Playable layout completed.-  ✅ Primary lighting pass completed.-  🔄 Environmental dressing in progress.-  🎯 Current goal: Steam Next Fest.-  🗺️ The public demo is designed to evolve as development progresses. Looking Back When we first announced that a demo was in development, we genuinelybelieved we could have it ready much sooner. Looking back, we underestimated what it would take to build a polishedvertical slice that properly represents Signal Bleed.A 15-20 minute demo may sound relatively small, but creating thoseminutes requires many of the same disciplines involved in building thefull game: level design, gameplay systems, lighting, environmentalstorytelling, sound design, optimization, testing, bug fixing, andcountless smaller details that players may never consciously notice, butimmediately feel when they're missing. As development progressed, it became clea...

"Signal Bleed" Featured by PC Steps Greece after the Comic Con 10

Hello everyone,We are happy to share that Signal Bleed was recently featured by PCsteps Greece following our public showcase at The Comic Con 10 in Thessaloniki. The article presents Signal Bleed through one of the central ideas behind the game:“Comfort is more terrifying than truth.”That sentence captures a major part of what we are trying to build. Signal Bleed is not a horror game about monsters, combat, or jumpscares. It is a first-person cognitive horror experience about perception, survival, institutional control, and the psychological cost of seeing the world as it truly is.In Signal Bleed, the player explores Oasis 47/A, an underground survival megastructure governed by ASR-9, an artificial intelligence designed to preserve what remains of humanity. The world seen through the Signal is controlled, curated, and comforting. The Bleed reveals what exists beneath that perception. The article highlights the game’s Signal/Bleed dual-reality system, the role of De-Synchronization, and the idea that the most frightening thing in this world may not be the truth itself, but the reason it was hidden. We want to thank PCsteps Greece for taking the time to cover Signal Bleed, and everyone who visited us at The Comic Con 10, played the early showcase, asked questions, and supported the project.Signal Bleed is still in development, and we are continuing to improve the game, its systems, atmosphere, and playable structure. If the concept interests you, please consider adding Signal Bleed to your Steam wishlist. It helps the project a lot and allows us to keep building toward the full release.Thank you for your support.— Echtros Games

    Signal Bleed Demo Development Update

Hello everyone,I want to share an important update regarding the Signal Bleed demo. After reviewing the remaining work and evaluating the scope of the project, I have decided to delay the demo release beyond the originally planned window.Development is progressing well, but I believe Signal Bleed deserves more time to reach the level of quality and atmosphere that I want players to experience during their first visit to Oasis 47/A.At the same time, I have also decided to slightly change how the demo itself will be structured.Instead of waiting until multiple sections of the game are complete, the initial public release will focus on the game's Prologue. The Prologue serves as the beginning of Unit 734's journey inside Oasis 47/A and introduces players to the facility, ASR-9, daily life within the underground city, and the first signs that something may be terribly wrong beneath the surface of reality.Following the release of the Prologue, the demo will continue to evolve through major content updates as development progresses. New sections corresponding to later parts of the game will be added over time, allowing players to follow the growth of Signal Bleed while helping shape the experience through feedback. This approach allows me to get the game into your hands sooner while continuing to build the larger experience behind the scenes.Signal Bleed has always been an ambitious project for a small independent studio, and I would rather take additional time than compromise on the quality, atmosphere, and storytelling that define the game.Thank you for your patience, your support, your feedback, and every wishlist you've given the project so far. Your encouragement has played a huge role in keeping development moving forward.I'll continue sharing progress updates as development advances and will announce a new release window as soon as I am confident it can be met.Thank you for being part of this journey.— John Dimitriadis Founder & Creative Director Echtros Games

    Progress Report: Oasis 47/A

The response to SIGNAL BLEED at Comic Con was far beyond anything we expected.Over the past few days, development has fully shifted toward the upcoming demo and the construction of the first major sector of Oasis 47/A — a layered underground megastructure designed not only to survive the collapse of the world, but the psychological burden that followed it.Current work is focused on environmental structure, hidden infrastructure, synchronization instability, and the gradual breakdown between perception and reality as players descend deeper into the facility. The demo is being built around a dense interconnected hub designed to slowly reveal the true nature of Oasis through exploration, environmental storytelling, and controlled exposure to the Bleed.Thank you to everyone who visited the booth, played the showcase, shared feedback, and supported the project by wishlisting the game. Watching people connect with the world of SIGNAL BLEED in person was something we will not forget.Progress continues below the surface.— Echtros Games
